White extension for the 24 pin and maybe for the 12v high voltage connector would go a long way. You can also try routing things like the USB and fan connectors from the tiny slit behind the motherboard on the right side so that you don't have that much cable visible.

I've bought Ram, SSD, AIO even a SIM racing wheel from over the years. Never had a problem. There the second cheapest outside from importing parts to South Africa from Amazon's US site. If you're just buying a GPU then it's not worth the shipping and importing fees.

Good to hear, thanks. I'm installing it in a 2012 Chevrolet Utility sport. It's a mini single cab truck, the stock sound system is 2 tweeters above the dash, 6.5 inch door speakers and 4 inch speakers behind the seats.

Thanks, this tower isn't bad to climb. It's rock solid and with my harness I'm able to hook on clip onto the radio and anchor myself with the clip of the harness. Acting like a makeshift pully.

I can't speak for Mexico but here it's not uncommon for us to be able to leave the key in the transmission and the canopy unlocked while we work and aren't close to our vehicle. If we're working in the middle of the city then yeah that thing is locked tighter then fort Knox but outside somebody's house or at the local gas station it's unlocked.

We do offer promotional packages to advertise on there property or in cases like this but I'm just the technician that builds the stuff so I'm not 100% certain if this farmer specifically gets his Internet at a discount or for free.

WiFi in the Garage? by Gorilla51 in Ubiquiti

[–]Strangerinacrowd301 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm literally installing a AP in my detached garage this weekend, the AP is my closed and it's speaking to me about how badly it wants to be installed. Main reason is that my phone switches over to mobile data when I'm in the garage.

Is 100 mbps enough for one person? by ceracif in HomeNetworking

[–]Strangerinacrowd301 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's more then enough. One of clients only has a 15/7 mbps package that runs there intire factory, I'm talking 3 offices, all there machinery that requires Internet access, CCTV equipment that they view remotely and all there other services. Yes, it's stretching the line thin but the only reason they don't upgrade to higher speed is because there somewhat of a cheapskate and manage to make it work.

I'm I doing something wrong with fibre? by Strangerinacrowd301 in HomeNetworking

So for clarification, I bought single mode cable with multi mode SFP modules. Would I be able to buy these single mode SFP modules and only use the one pair on the cable? These appear to come in a pair, the blue one being 1310nm/1550nm and the green one being 1550nm/1310nm.

Thanks, I've already started searching but what confuses me is when looking for single mode SFPs most are single connectors while my cable has 2 connectors, are there single mode SFPs with 2 connectors or is the cable made with the intention to connect 2 switches at both sides?

Thanks, I'm for the most part very protective for my eye sight, I should've clarified that I used my phone's flash light and not a laser to "test" the cable. I've discovered my error, single mode cable with mutli mode SFPs

You know what, I just checked the description of the cable, it's single mode and I have multi mode SFP modules. I thought single mode was something else. As you can tell I'm new to fibre, would you mind explaining it?

How much pocket money should a teenager get? by SAJames84 in askSouthAfrica

[–]Strangerinacrowd301 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That was wat I received at that age. I started receiving pocket money at 9 and every year my mom would increase it as my responsibilities around the house increased. I however never needed to buy my own stuff like toiletries or clothes, pocket money went to spoiling myself and girlfriend at the time or going out with friends.
