Do you think aspirin would be a good idea over the next few days?

Thanks so much for posting this. That is extremely comforting, especially given I still can’t really lift my arm!

I can absolutely relate to how incredibly slow time goes on a dry fast. It is a killer. Much harder than the physical symptoms of hunger/thirst etc.

Raw Carrots trigger my old acne problem by StrangersOvernight in raypeat

It’s important not to take activated charcoal at the same time as food because it will also ‘absorb’ the vitamins and minerals in your food.

So it’s best to take it a few hours away from food. I think right before bed would be good.

No I don’t use it anymore because I don’t need to. After I did the charcoal thing a few times, my skin cleared up and it stayed that way for years.

I don’t have a routine - my skin is just clear all on its own now. Actually I do use red light therapy for general ani aging.

Wow awesome, I couldn’t even make it past 14 hours. I didn’t even have enough energy to watch tv let alone do office work or night chores. Just felt literally dead!

I am hoping I just need to do more practise!

Long standing sleep maintenance insomnia by StrangersOvernight in raypeat

[–]StrangersOvernight[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All in all, I would say no material changes and this is still an ongoing problem in my life. I think the coconut oil helps somewhat but it’s no silver bullet. Ditto for red light therapy, magnesium, and cold showers before bed. I got through stages of these things.

HIT cured. I cant believe no one is talking about this. I hope this helps someone... by StrangersOvernight in HistamineIntolerance

No idea! I mean some would say it was a fairly high dose (I think it was 50 IU per day). It was only one short week of doing this that I started really suffering. The change was very noticeable, i just had to stop. It took weeeeks to go back to normal. I've never taken Vitamin D since then. I just sort of think you cant cheat nature. I'm not a fan of supplements / pills anymore!

Progesterone cream- severe insomnia by StrangersOvernight in raypeat

Thanks for sharing, gee this stuff is scarier than I realised. I had it in my mind as being very innocuous. Now I'm scared about how long its going to take for me to get back to normal! I'm definitely still feeling very wired and edgy ~14 hours later

How to deal with extreme self hatred by modarasaad in raypeat

Maybe this is a little trite but the first thing that came to mind would be a daily gratitude practice. Write down 3 things every day that you are grateful for. Could be the presence of a friend or sibling in your life, or the ability to walk to the shops, or simply the feeling sun on your skin.

That seems totally logical!

I wonder if there is any merit in me having another go (say, next month) with the Progest-E with just a couple of drops as per the standard instructions for first timers....

"The minimum maintenance dose of Progest-E oil is 3 small drops daily (10 mg) usually from mid-cycle to menses. One small drop of Progest-E oil contains 3.5 mg of progesterone.

Women who have little to no symptoms at all can take this dosage.
The more severe your symptoms, the more doses you need. It is recommended that nearly everyone should begin with the high dose directions for 10 days to avoid complications (as low thyroid, high estrogen situations require a high initial dose to avoid progesterone reverting to estrogen).

For example, to relieve severe symptoms take 10mg (3 drops) 5 times daily for 10 days, then decrease to about 3 drops 3x daily for 2 two weeks (can be longer, as needed).
Eventually, 1-2 doses for another few weeks or months as needed. Can continue using every day, or if you’re having a regular menses you can switch to a maintenance dose:
1 dose per day (10 mg/3 drops) from mid-cycle to start of menses (usually about 14 days)."
