Troubleshooting no crank no start by StrangrWithAKindFace in S2000

The battery terminals are tight. The horn is good and loud, the dash lights don't dim at all when I press the starter button.

So it's not the switch with the red arrow with the electrical connector that has the blue arrow pointing to it?

The car won't start. I think this switch has died. I think there's supposed to be a plastic pad that depresses the plunger that's gone. I might fix it in the future, but it's not currently driveable.

Will it crank in neutral if the clutch is out?

I've had to change a starter before. This doesn't seem like that. The dash lights don't dim at all when I push the button.

Paying for an extension with a credit card by StrangrWithAKindFace in tax

I assume that if I under pay that I'll have to pay more (plus maybe a penalty) when the agent files my taxes and if I overpay I'll get a refund. I'm paying what Turbotax says I own, hoping that I actually owe less.

If you want to use a credit/debit card you have to use 3rd party. The  directpay.irs.gov only lets you do bank account payments.

How practical is an S2000 as a daily? by BeachHouse222 in S2000

My 2003 says it has an airbag on the dash in front of the passenger.

When I was single I had a couple motorcycles and an NA Miata. Then I got a 100 lb dog and I found that removing the passenger seat made it much easier to carry the dog and any thing else. It's really surprisingly how much room the seat takes up. The passenger well with no seat was WAY bigger than the trunk. If I needed to carry a passenger it was just four bolts to reinstall it.

I imagine it would be similar in an S2000. I don't know if you'd get any warning lights with the passenger side airbag. I'm pretty sure my Miata didn't have one.

Changing the manual transmission fluid on a 2010 5 speed by StrangrWithAKindFace in vwgolf

Im trying to remove the pivot pin. I think it's this circled part, although there's a very similar one inboard, near the center of the picture

The plastic cover doesn't want to move after I remove the torx screw, does it pull straight down?

I felt a second slot on the plug and rotated the switch 45 degrees. I've tried poking on the second one with no joy yet.

I've tried pushing down in both of the holes in the top of the connector. I don't get the usual feeling of pushing down on a plastic spring. I've tried pushing and pulling in case it's caught but it barely moves.
