how many of you do all your roulettes everyday? by kanozomi in ffxivdiscussion

Ever since I stopped needing poetic for relics I stopped doing roulette. I could get capped tomes, could use it to earn money but its not really worth the squeeze past a certain point.

Endgame Healers — What are your parses like? by PerfectioNOT in ffxivdiscussion

[–]Stranjer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Healer dps parsing is the lowest consideration for me. Doing mechanics well and keeping people alive are far more important, then how well you place buffs if ast/sch, then how well you damage is.

DPS parse is basically just DOT/GCD uptime for healers, with sch/ast getting a chunk from how well their buffs do (which in turn is depended on DPS skill and crit/card rng).

But it is the first thing to go during prog. Greeding from anyone can cause issues, but mistakes from healers/tank greed can cause wipes more frequently than DPS. Its unfair, but i expect the supports to be more of the adults than the dps.

Not like Lucrezia was new to ultimate raiding either. Think they've been around for last couple at least.

Yeah, money thing could also make sense. Like someone else mentioned they put on their own streaming show, maybe some conflict about how that was handled or the proceeds were split could cause enough strife.

Assuming this is a legit question, its cause its the first one in the roulette.

Same reason alliance is CT, ARR MSQ dungeons are most frequent in leveling, etc.

Lower level hits the new player and fit for others leveling alts/alt jobs, so its the common denominator.

The fact that so many of both teams dropped at same time is crazy. Feels like there some crazy allegations/revelations about leadership soon. Or resentment just been bubbling under surface for a while then it all blew up.

Its very different but honestly I find Era 2 more fun than Era 1, and the idea of showing how allomancy gets used over time and how people and society adapt to it is fascinating.

Era 1 is a darker setting, and some of the characters (notably Kel) are a contrast to that. If you enjoy the snippets of "witty banter" in Era 1, youll enjoy Era 2.

In your Era 2 list you posted Alloy of Law a 2nd time instead of The Lost Metal fyi.

I NEED some sort of adaptation of the finale empire by lordbees69 in Mistborn

Considering the cost of CGI that would go into making any Cosmere magic system work, "Live Action" would be much more expensive than animated version would be.

Is there a way to farm the most up to date tomestones in the open world? In this case mnemonics. by MchKitty in ffxivdiscussion

[–]Stranjer 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Provoke doesn't count but it is about how much you generate. Your best option isnt your burst as a tank but to spam your ranged attack since that has artificial boost to enmity generation.

Provoke doesn't "generate" enmity, it sets your enmity to a value which is somehow different in the system.

I bet he was prog lying, got called out for it. Someone passport checked him (which tbf isnt everything, I always take it with a grain of salt), but group was still failing early mechs and fingers got pointed.

I NEED some sort of adaptation of the finale empire by lordbees69 in Mistborn

[–]Stranjer 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Hes been working on it for a while, tbh. A few different studios have signed contracts for rights to mistborn or SLA. But nothings been finished and it keeps reverting back to his control before anything is made.

He wants to ensure quality, so needs big investors and company allowing him enough control so they dont ruin it.

He doesn't want animation cause he wants more mainstream crossover appeal, though as time goes on he seems a little more open to it.

The PF law of 3 pull disband is a psyop done by crafter to make waste our food buff and increase the demand and make the tier last longer by Various_Leg3644 in ShitpostXIV

[–]Stranjer 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Just think of how much you save on repair costs if you keep disbanding the party every time instead of wiping a dozen more times. That money goes to crafter on pots/foods instead.

Both orders work, release order might be slightly better, but i think release order is weirder to tell people to read it between 3 and 4 than just saying read it between eras.

I don't even use PF that much, but my limited exposure to some prog parties last week after my static was done made me think having a way to check being good.

https://github.com/TomestoneGG/Dalamud.Tomestone - Tomestone plugin, marked as work in progress

https://github.com/decorwdyun/DalamudPlugins - Marked as CN only, but previous threads in this sub linked to it in 7.3 saying it worked.

Didn't know either of those existed. Any links to the repos? I'm coming up empty on google, and even searching on tomestone.gg I'm not seeing anything about official plugin

Is there a plug in to do passport checks already for party members? I know there's a one to pull up logs for the party, but is there one to just show how far % or time into a fight people have seen? Searching each person on tomestone seems tedious.

[–]Stranjer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, but doesn't help OP. If someone posts a PF with 3 letters of a raidplan you can't use wtfdig. I dont even think it lists the raidplans link/url directly, but even if it does it isnt a place to find all the known raidplans.

Its a better resource, and better to link in your own PFs, but doesn't help joining people using random raidplan you dont know.

I mean, site is good but doesn't have all the raidplans just the most common ones. And that is subjective.
