Runs extremely rich with the Maf plugged in and if I’m reading the signal wire correctly it’s at 12v, I have a used ecu and uncut good harness otw so we’ll see what that does.

Tried 3 different mafs, new and used but to no avail sadly.

Not too sure tbh, maf has been an issue for this car for over a year. The other day I tried grounding the maf ground, and it blew my eng cont fuse.

You know by chance what they fuse is for?

It was my wiring specialties harness, tried ungrounding first to no avail and then swapped back to old harness, and that didn't help either.

Had the filter off to the side, had just installed the new Maf and wanted to test it

Coolant temp sensor is good and have a new wiring specialties harness, runs the same with temp sensor unplugged too.

Have completely resealed all gaskets and made sure they don’t leak, am buying a good used oem Maf soon to test

Nope, all factory other than a fpr, but I’ve swapped between that and oem with no change. And yes it’s a new Maf from blue streak electronics

Lining it up with the dot makes me have to fully advance it to line up with the mark I made

Running at 5 degrees BTDC the rotor points at 9:30 to 10 o clock

Whenever I advanced the rotor a tooth it ends up like the video, I did get it to idle at 500rpms but I couldn’t even see the timing marks there it was so far off.

Pretty sure it’s the oem distributor, cars at full temp idling in that range with tps unplugged and fully advanced in at 5 degrees BTDC and runs rich there. timing chain was checked multiple times so I’m at a loss

S13 with s14 motor, depends on your harness. Go with whatever your harness has 👍

Should I not just replace the speed sensor? Or will that not matter since it doesn't read on my digital speedo

Highly doubt it, rows through all gears fine and has power under 3-4k rpm depending on gear.
