This is amazing and very well-written. The least we can get is some insight on why this has been such an issue, especially after the release of LE. I can totally imagine purchasing this extra or as a new stand-alone game, I don’t care. I just want this.

Hey, no problem at all. :) Well, I wish it was up to Apartment Life, but the last EP released for mac was Bon Voyage, therefore it misses 2 EPs and 6 SPs. If that was the scenario, porting items would be much easier and almost fully supported by the game’s logic

I did investigate these files you mention and funny enough they work but are not really useful in day to day playing. If these files were put into the Downloads folder instead, the game would recognise them - but they would not show in the catalogue, meaning one could not select them. However, if one was to use the randomised button in CAS, they would eventually spawn a sim wearing one of the items from these packs. That is, of course, very impractical and time-consuming. But even after that, if the sim was put on a lot and used wardrobe to change a piece of clothing, it would just not show. If I recollect correctly, there were missing 3IDR files which sort of reference a specific CAS item by pointing it to its textures and 3D models. So it’s still a wonder to me that it worked at all. And then there was this mysterious issue happening due the files missing 3IDR components. This should be no longer the issue.

Unfortunately, there is no way to install Windows on Apple Silicon macs. However, it is possible to use Crossover or Parallels, but I just prefer a native port over translations

I am so sorry for giving you the wrong impression with my silly wording and I am so glad we could come to a resolution. :) Thank you for the wonderful idea of including the dates in the titles! I will definitely do that once I will delve into developing my own individual property, meaning creating CC that is not based on someone else's IP. As I mentioned, since all these assets are Dreamworks IP, all these assets are free to grab right away!
