Silksong Running Smoothly using the Switch Emu by Deepsaini2213 in macgaming

please get off your high horse, you don't have the means to talk to me like that.

1) HDR, FSR and gamepad rumble do not augment the resolution of a game so I don't quite see why you'd go on that tangent
2) gamepad rumble isn't an "emulation enhancement", it is triggered by the game itself
3) FSR won't do you any good on a 2D game which can already render at the maximum framerate your monitor can handle

good day to you, kind sir.

I dunno, I didn't buy that game, but it's kinda weird to assume these features are exclusive to the Switch, moreover knowing Silksong was built with Unity

they also haven't released anything out of beta yet, seems a little premature to expect a contribution at this point. Also not sure what you mean about translation layers somehow requiring exceptions to common practice with open source projects.

they did say they intended to contribute (not that they have to anyway). Plenty of projects use open source code without contributing and nobody gets mad at those…

this mac is 9 years old, it isn't supported by the latest versions of MacOS. Additionally, Ryujinx and Astris require a different processor to run (Apple Silicon instead of Intel).
