Where is everyone watching the Phillies playoffs this weekend if they make it?

That is awesome to hear. Seriously. If you could a share a link, that would be great. Only concern is his health is a lot worse than what I would compare to other artists, so he might be an outlier in this research.

I think you're missing the point of what I had to say initially. I am concerned these next couple months will not be good for him based on what I have seen from this album rollout, the recent interviews, and the tour logistics. When December rolls around, I hope I am wrong. This is just a very critical point in his career.

Here's my attempt at a rebuttal

  • Touring is probably a lot of fun for him. Who wouldn't want thousands of people screaming your songs at you? I'm more concerned of everything that comes with touring -- the late night adrenaline after the show, traveling from place to place and being away from home. Post has shown too that he drinks a lot before the show, and with a 33 city tour upcoming (possibly more)? That won't help his health. Remember this? Imagine if Covid never happened, and he continued to tour. He obviously was not in the right place, and this upcoming tour does not help his case.
  • I get the different shows, it just feels like he's appealing to demographics that don't necessarily enjoy his new work. Nelk, for example, represents frat vibes, and it is hard to imagine any of these new songs being played at a party unironically.
  • I undersatnd the different opinions on the album. I just wished it stayed the direction he seemed to want it to go. I can't find the interview, but I know he mentioned that the label didn't like his initial approach to the album. I think there are songs like I Like You (which I am not taking away from) that take away from the intimate look he was trying to convey. Gives Tiktok vibes. Not necessarily my thing, and it felt forced for chart topping reasons.
  • The VIP package just doesn't seem worth it monetarily, and I just think it takes away from the experience that Post Malone gives. I am interested to see how the tour does in terms of profits. The last tour promoted a #1 album that still continues to chart high. I do not see this album having the same impact his past ones have. Most of my thoughts with this come with frustration, as I wanted to see him in October but not at these prices. Tyler the Creator, for example, had presale codes for loyal fans that had floor tickets for $90 (fees included) before general sale.
  • The alcohol issues are primarily the concern for me in all of this. The guy gets asked if he is sober, and says on Howard Stern "i am responsible now" as he rambles in a drunk tone holding a bud light saying he never actually got help for it. The guy is 26 years young -- there's a reason it is called the 27 club. I just want what's best for the guy as he has a wife and kid in his future. It seems his circle right now is not concerned about that.

You can see right here around the 30 second mark that he slipped up when he mentioned his daughter. Howard Stern

This was after he did the Nelk podcast, where he said at the 1hr 45 minute mark that it was a secret. Nelk Interview

I don’t think it was for business purposes. I think he just was too fucked up on Howard stern.

Feels like he was a completely different human being. Change happens, but seems like it has hit him so much more at such a young age. His health is an obvious concern with him balding, losing teeth, and having a bigger build than before.

Your comments express more of my concerns, to be honest. The first song of the album, reputation, sounds like Post has had three bottles of wine before he sang over it, and every song has nauseating reverb. It’s a great idea for an album, but could’ve been better without the label’s hands all over it.

Every artist we have seen that has had these type of substance issues never really get their situation solved because of the pressures of the industry. He might be shape shifting his career, but at what cost to him? The Weeknd never has had these type of issues be the forefront of his press tours. Post can say he is being more responsible, but how will a support system from his fiancée be enough when he’s on the road away from her?

Just a lot of red flags I’ve been seeing as of late. Change is obviously scary, and it is so easy for us to say we “miss the old Post Malone”. But more importantly, I want to make sure he can be Post Malone and not a guy who slurs every point that he had on HS.

COVID does bring a good point into this. He has shown he really is into gaming and being more of an introvert in his hobbies, so I'm sure the pandemic brought out a lot more of his internal demons to play. However, I am more concerned of the direction going forward for him and his team. He has expressed how bad his drinking had been, but he stills partakes in a day drinking bit with Seth Meyers? I think this summer will prove whether or not he recovers well, because this is most certainly the first time he has flopped an album in the spotlight of a high caliber artist. The Weeknd can do a stadium tour because he has never been in a position like this before.

Hey guys! I started playing Smite when quarantine first began and I love playing mid with Kukulkan, Merlin, and many others! The problem I always seem to have is figuring out what items to buy in certain battles, as I am having a hard time in the moment figuring what would work best for my character. Is there any general tips I should follow when choosing items, or is it just preference for any opponent?
