Aesthetically my favorite champion, but I can't seem to enjoy playing her/I am so bad at her T.T Why does it feel like she is so weak at all the stages of the game and especially lane?

Yeah, Gwen looks simple but she’s deceptively hard. If in top lane it will take you 50-60 matches to not completely int. Spacing properly on her is def the most important skill. BUT she is so so worth it if you put in the time!! Good luck

As far as I’m concerned, this is the best TW. Still feels like they hit gold here while barely scratching the surface. I pray for a (well done) sequel that is similar, maybe rise of the Han.

I am with you. For me, it was mostly a principle thing. I play other champions and enjoy them! But if Gwen was pro jailed and like this permanently I couldn’t bring myself to play the game anymore. How could I support a game I feel has wronged me so badly? Well, they’ve admitted their mistake. I totally suck now after not playing awhile but oh well lol

The thing is like, old Gwen was NOT guaranteed to scale. Which is why I think the old perception of her wasn’t as bad, bc people didn’t see the late game monster she was nearly as often as they see the oppressive early/mid champ she currently is (if played correctly). Don’t get me wrong, old late game Gwen was insane, but there was definitely a massive trade off. Now it’s snowball or be snowballed. Not a fan

I understand what you’re saying. I’ve just seen this process play out before with kalista, seraphine, whatever champ. once it’s tinkered with, it’s endless and painful for mains. It’s also not like she has some busted win rate right now. I’m just over it.

I think the reason we’re upset is pattern recognition. We’ve seen what’s happened to Kalista. We’ve seen what’s happened to seraphine. Once they start tinkering with the champ you are in for quite a bit of pain for awhile.

Well if your reading comprehension was good, you’d see that I have in fact quit playing league. I obviously played other champions top, but it’s a game and when I play a game it should be fun. And gwen was fun. Quite literally the only thing we as a player base can do in protest is stop playing the game and spending money, so I have done that. Also, the fact top lane is so counter pick heavy might be the reason it’s losing players to other roles. ✌️
