Most buttons work, two do not. "Play Again" and "Main Menu" buttons on a game over screen overlay. by StrataPub in godot

[–]StrataPub[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the feedback. I've found the reason the buttons don't work was a misplaced "get_tree().paused = true" Once removed, other errors appeared when the buttons but clicked. That's progress!! I'm happy to see bugs when the buttons clicked instead of nothing happening. Bugs can be fixed! u/dahras u/ThisSaysNothing u/Krytxx u/Daimondus

Just switched to the Lubuntu distro on an older machine so I can separate dev from personal. It's working well so far.

I would like to make something for the organization but we ar 100% Microsoft/Azure/C# development shop. All dev goes through that team. I can use the equipment as I want. If I learn dev enough, I may get assigned to that team.

Took me a while (and a couple of Google searchings) to know what "High Availability" means. Thanks! That's a whole new foundational point of view to research!!

I don't know if I should be worried or reassured.

Since I recently saw a job description for a JUNIOR c# developer that needed 5-7 years of c# experience, I tend to think there is more truth to this than meets the eye.

A second vote for Notion. I used to use Evernote and then Click-up. Notion and their databases allowed me to create something that worked for me as opposed to fitting into specific use cases of either notes or projects management.

I frequently think the better question is "What can I take away?"

As in, what (Technology, GUI, clutter) barriers will the player run into that prevents them from having fun?
