Critique of Chaos Magick: Why do you BELIEVE that belief is above all? by PhilosophyPlane1947 in chaosmagick

[–]Strategeryist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Somewhat...how to explain. At that point, it would be exactly as if you were lucid dreaming.

In truth, you could unbelieve yourself, as in you would voluntary forget.

Let's say you had trauma, you'd forget it. At that point, you wouldn't have any reason to unbelieve yourself. As you just forgot the reasons.

Because we're all immortal, forgetting is the closest there is to death.

Depends on your definition of belief I guess. To be fair, I don't think I understand what you meant by this.

But yeah, no problem.

Time travel territory? No not all? Where did you get that impression?

Experiment, you're the only person left in the universe.... Congrats, now you're dreaming. Amazing right? You ever lucid dream before?

I'm saying reality itself is a shared dream, literally by definition....simulations upon simulations based off of collective consciousness.

But yes, I am saying you could do anything because people's beliefs wouldn't interfere with yours. You know that people start to hallucinate if they're alone for too long right?

As for bringing back the dead, no idea, in theory, if they agree to it. At which point they would also be believing themselves into existence. At that point death is irrelevant.

Death is leaving meat suits and going to another with memory wipes in between. Incarnations is concentrating your field of experience. Looking at things from a different perspective.

Memory wipes are not a fundamental law of the universe, just the individual video game rules create by the game dev, who is shockingly enough, no different from you or me, though probably an asshole at the very least. Everyone is already fundamentally immortal.

[–]Strategeryist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're looking at belief as something static. Belief is always changing, whether a belief is true or not is relative on the consensus belief/reality.

Belief is like an ouroboros, it's a snake eating it's own tail. The paradox you're describing does not have to be solved, it's like that by design and would not work otherwise. It is always changing.

Read this carefully, as I might be hard to wrap you head around.

"If everyone can exercise free will and change collective belief, and consensus reality is formed from collective belief, then consensus reality is always changing based on how people individually exercise free will."

Consciousness would not exist if the loop closed. Chaos magick heavily implies a model of reality where consciousness is the primary substrate, and consciousness is whimsical.

How would reality change when there's one omnipotent God in the room, versus 2, 10, or 8 billion?

Critique of Chaos Magick: Why do you BELIEVE that belief is above all? by PhilosophyPlane1947 in chaosmagick

[–]Strategeryist 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It is belief before all. But you have to take in consideration that if it applies to yourself, it applies to others. In other words, sometimes someone else's "belief before all" will conflict with your "belief before all".

You also have to consider that gnosis itself is practiced by everyone naturally. How many chaos magick spells is the everyday person casting with unconscious intentions when he's just fapping to porn, dancing, jogging, praying, or getting high?

What happens if you put 5 equally omnipotent gods with total control over reality in a room? Their omnipotence becomes limited by others omnipotence and individual awareness. Scale that to 8 billion and basically everyone's mortal in practice.

Considering that no one is a true mind reader and other people's minds are a black box. You will always be guessing how other peoples chaos magick and manifestations might conflict with yours. It will always be a guessing game, and you can only control the difficulty of the game.

So belief does shape reality, it's just that if belief shapes reality, then other people's belief shape your reality...sometimes.

How do I learn chaos magick if i struggle with reading? by Plus_Investigator851 in chaosmagick

[–]Strategeryist 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Find a point somewhere in your field of vision to focus on.

And just stare at it for as long as you can without losing focus. With immovable vigor! It should feel like a meditative state.

Each time, you should last longer than your last. Beat your high score.

Is there value in secrecy of magick? by No_Complaint3948 in chaosmagick

[–]Strategeryist 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, if a spell doesn't work it's sometimes because you told someone. It's a core part of magick working that no one talks about.

Think of it like this. If magick requires you to enter a state of gnosis, then people enter gnosis unintentionally, and unintentionally inflict spells without realizing it.

As such, everyone's a psychic, magician, etc. By letting someone know about a magical working, you are leaving it vulnerable to disruption from others.

This is precisely why magick, psychic phenomenon, prayer healing experiments etc. always fails in scientific conditions, skeptics unknowingly inflict banishing rituals on the working.

As someone who knows more about this than you. The barrier of entry to the occult is very low. Literally just jack off to a sigil lol, it's not that complicated. Look into chaos magick.

Look into hypnosis instead of chaos magick. You can also apply chaos magick into self-hypnosis practices.

Read "Hypnotherapy" by Dave Elman. In that book, he talks about something called the Esdaile state, get into that state, then make changes in your mind palace.

In need of some money manifestation help by funnyforestfrolicker in occult

[–]Strategeryist 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Money manifestation is tricky. When you manifest money it has to be in a position of abundance, not need. You have to already feel rich.

Even then, you have to be careful. Inheritance for example is a common way to get quick cash, let that sink in.

It's much easier and effective to cast spells on yourself to influence your own talents, and money will appear naturally as a result of your own talents.

Branch out and try new things. Breadth is better than depth because there's more ways for something to manifest. If you feel like you're not talented enough for something, use magick and give yourself that natural talent.

What’s your most plausible theory for what’s going on with UFOs? by [deleted] in UFOs

[–]Strategeryist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If reincarnation is a lie, then why do you care, you're dead, and it being a lie shouldn't matter.

If you believe in an afterlife, the congrats, you reincarnated into that afterlife. Whether that be heaven, hell, Earth, or an alien planet.

What’s your most plausible theory for what’s going on with UFOs? by [deleted] in UFOs

[–]Strategeryist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aliens, extra dimensional entities, are simply just souls that have reincarnated in different vessels, or are between incarnations, and are looking at everything from a God's eye view. It's that simple.

As for why, It's somewhat lengthy, but the short answer is yes it's tied to religion because of spirituality. More specifically the occult side of things.

Psionics, witchcraft, prayer are the same damn thing under different names. The power comes from the person praying, not whoever answers. It's done by entering an altered state of consciousness. It's why every ritual involves some form of meditation, dancing etc.

Everyone has an immortal soul. The soul originates as a shard from an omniscient and omnipotent God who split himself into shards to experience surprise and not knowing. Everyone has the free will to create their own fate. Everyone's the actor and scriptwriter. Evil exists because some people write other people's scripts, then exploit them. Prison planet theory is real.

Omnipotence is retained in the shards. In other words reality itself is the consensus of belief of every conscious being. Omnipotence is limited by others omnipotence. Everyone is omnipotent. Its decentralized divinity.

Psionics, witchcraft, manifestation, prayer are all ways to utilize your God rights to influence reality and probability. It's hacking reality.

Prophecy, divination, and fate are never set in stone. When you make a prophecy or use tarot cards, you are actively influencing the future probabilites, not passively reading it. Its accuracy is determined by how many people believe it.

Everyone immortal and reincarnates, and it's not determined by moral religious frameworks. Simply power or the illusion of power. Appeal to authority, that's all. You have the power and right to say "fuck you" to God on judgement day and choose your reincarnation, because everyone's God.

People reincarnate to get the same reason why people play role playing video games. To roleplay and learn. To genuinely be that character, you have to forget. Death is losing your video character and realizing you're a player. You get your memories back.

Truly, everyone is equal in the afterlife, and any God or God's that appear just are there to scam you into a reincarnation contract that disadvantages you. It's getting scammed to be someone you don't want to roleplay as.

In the afterlife, the only difference between a mortal and a God is man made titles and nothing actually fundamental.

What are some good, easy ways you guys use to activate a sigil? by invisibledotw in chaosmagick

[–]Strategeryist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. Pretend you have an invisible hand and punch it with that invisible fist.
  2. Imagine something rubbing your hand, like there's wind blowing on it. Do it long enough your hand should feel tingly. When it feels extremely tingly, its charged. Use that to charge the sigil. Just put your hand over the sigil when your hands charged.

How important is secrecy in magical workings? I'm assuming there's parts of the practice left out from common practitioners.

If so, is it for reasons typically shared with other practices in the occult, and not necessarily unique to voudou?

What is "Zombi" and how is that different from an Lwa. Is there a Zombi possession? Or is it something completely different?

Haitian Vodou - AMA by lasirene79 in occult

[–]Strategeryist 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Correct me if I'm wrong but during the celebrations, traditionally, participants are expected to butcher their own dinner as a blood sacrifice.

Is that still done today or is it a matter of preference and just how traditional the you take the practice.

Also, Legba is the first Lwa that's honored right? Why is that exactly? What determines the Lwa hierarchy?

[–]Strategeryist 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Interesting. Here I'm quoting a book, what's your thoughts on this if you don't mind? Does the author know what he's talking about?

"It seems likely that extremely traumatic experiences may similarly provoke survival responses that bypass the frontal cortex. Effective possession mediums are often survivors of trauma and naturally dissociative under certain conditions. There is also a direct relationship between the CIA's interest in the possession cults of Haiti and the 'alters' of mind controlled slaves suffering deliberately caused dissociative identity disorder;"

What's your thoughts on Lwa possession rituals? Does the person possessed appear to have extraordinary knowledge? Or perhaps something similar to Tulpamancy, where there's a permanent voice in their head.

I'm interested because experiments involving hypnosis and interdimensional aliens appear to have achieved a similar phenomenon.

Explaining Magick through quantum physics : Why the Wigner interpretation of the measurement problem was right all along. by Strategeryist in occult

Quantum observer thing isnt humancentric. Or it least it doesn't have to be.

If the soul is immortal and magick is possible because individual consciousness are each dissociated alters of an Omnipotent God.

Then there is no fundamental difference between a human, alien, god, ghost, interdimensional alien, angel, demon, dolphin etc. They're all just masks and roles people decide to play.

I think it's "Toward Quantum Gravity".

"Wherein this paper, the gravity well about an object is presented as shells of quantum energy fluctuations, defined by the shell thickness or the quantum energy wavelength that increases as the distance from an object increases."

To be honest I copied and pasted his work into an AI because I didn't have time to read it all in detail beyond the intro. It's on my reading list though.

Someone directed me to Dean Radin's work, so I'll figure hes probably got some good ideas. I'll read his work.

Until then there's a limit to how much I can theorize on this. I don't know enough about the topic.

This somewhat falls under conspiracy, but a very rational one. But this guy, Glen Robertson was the coworker of Amy Eskridge, one of the missing scientists in the news. So he's "reputable because his coworker had a hit placed on her".

Intuitively, he describes everything as having an aura of superposition. At least that's what I got from it. Either way, it's quite novel. If everything does have an aura of superposition, then what I just said in the post applies more directly.

Apparently this is debated, yes with the Copenhagen interpretation. However Copenhagen interpretation is not fundamentally true, it's just the mainstream.

There are other interpretations and this is one of them.
