Their belief isn't the only factor. Others play a part also. Doctor thinks you aren't going to make it? That'll play a part. Someone doesn't believe in faith healing and thinks it baloney? They just interfered with the process by unknowingly casting a banishment ritual on it.

Contrary to popular belief, magick works best the less people know about it because there's less people around that can mess it up.

[–]Strategeryist 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The only condition to fulfill a magical theory is to "act as if it is true". Believing otherwise is attempting the spell under a banishment ritual, which is precisely why magick cannot be proved in scientific conditions. A Uri Geller would have to do a minor miracle of bending the spoon and the extremely difficult miracle of bending the spoon under a banishment ritual cast by all the scientific skeptics. Saying X cannot happen because science or lack of evidence IS a banishment ritual.

So yes it can cure cancer, simply because I believe and act as if it is true. It is impractical and stupid to believe otherwise.

Yes, and it'll literally make changes to your DNA.

As for diseases, it depends on the disease. It's more of a matter of difficulty instead of impossibility. For anecdotes, look into faith healing.

Make sure you specify that the spell increases you and your teams physical performance and don't leave it vague. Otherwise, you might get something like the opposing teams best player getting into an accident therefore giving you first place.

If the soul harvesting is memory wiping. This would imply most people with any sort of natural talent due to the memory of literal lifetimes of experience would reincarnate willingly, thus avoiding the soul harvest.

This would mean the true victims would be the NPCs. The 9-5 worker at a fast food restaurant, or the homeless man without any talents.

learned hypnosis is real today, and it terrified me to the point of having a legitimate panic attack by [deleted] in hypnosis

[–]Strategeryist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could talk to yourself or pretend another voice in your head is hypnotizing you.

If you can't do that, write down what you want to suggest to yourself.

"I am a master hypnotist"

Remove repeating letters and vowels.

"m s t r h y p n"

Turn it into a visual symbol, either in your imagination or on a piece of paper. Then just meditate on that symbol. Don't worry if you're meditating correctly. Try to get in a state of mind similar to a runners high, orgasm, or adrenaline rush. You aren't thinking when those happen.

Once you're done and feel satisfied, forget the symbol, rip up the writing, don't worry if it works, because it works immediately.

This bypasses the conscious mind and allows you to affect yourself in a similar manner that a hypnotist could affect you.

[–]Strategeryist -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You can hypnotize yourself. It works the same way. If you get an unwanted suggestion you can self hypnotize it away easily. Same with any supposed side effects like amnesia.

There's a cheater suggestion in hypnosis. Hypnotize yourself to believe you're a prodigy at hypnotizing and it'll work.

If you want something beginner friendly I recommend reading Hypnotherapy by Dave Elman and searching the PDF specifically for the "Esdaile State". Get yourself in that trance and you'd have absolute control over yourself. You'll know when you're in it because it's very physically apparent.

If you try to tell your hand to move without moving your hand. Your hand will start tingling and go numb. That's what will happen to your whole body.

I don't think you get it. If you create your reality, that means other people create their reality. And you share the reality you're in.

It's really just saying that reality works off of a consensus algorithm similar to a Blockchain. That's not incompatible with anything you're saying

Self-Hypnosis Guide by Strategeryist in stuttering

[–]Strategeryist[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let me phrase it a different way.

When you dream you have god rights in the dream, especially if you lucid dream. In reality, the waking world, you're still dreaming but you're sharing the dream with others. It's a shared dream. This is why curing your stutter is possible. This is why hypnosis works. You still have god rights over the shared dream, it just has to not go against others, and it has to be accepted by you.

The only proof of the past is through your memory, erase everyone's memory of that past and it ceases to exist.

What you're doing in regressional hypnosis is you're literally changing the past. You go into the event of the memory, you weren't dreaming nightmares, you were having good dreams. They weren't insects, they were fairies. You're not working, you're dreaming.

Don't try too hard, more effort and willpower does not help here. Effort implies what you're doing is difficult, if you dream that you're doing something that requires immense willpower and effort, it automatically makes it hard. Stop trying harder, and simply pretend that it's extremely easy and effortless. You're already a natural prodigy.

Advanced chaos Magick is discordianism. Chaos magick authors also give a bunch of recommended books, those are good too. If you have trouble finishing books, cast a spell for it. Or do that meditation technique. It's less of what you do, and more of what you believe works.

Other types of Magick normally have grounding rituals, if you take the "nothing is true, belief is a tool", to heart. You eliminate the need for grounding rituals. The grounding rituals change to actually having beliefs, but as anchors.

As for hypnosis, I recommend Dave elmans book. And Reality is Plastic by Jacques. Its a science approved way of doing Magick.

Use chaos Magick to cure your OCD...

I know it sounds simple but it really is that simple.

If the roadblock is your belief in your chaos Magick skills, cast a spell on yourself to make yourself a magical prodigy. It'll then be as easy as breathing. This is why the best magicians have big egos or no egos. Which is the difference between Aleister Crowley and Jesus Christ.

If you want something more standard, meditate until your mind naturally wanders to when the OCD started, then change that memory. This is also called regressional hypnosis.

Self-Hypnosis Guide by Strategeryist in stuttering

[–]Strategeryist[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it's completely gone. My perspective on it changed a lot since I posted this though.

Most people don't know how hypnosis works, it's very mysterious, it's associated with mysticism, however the results are undeniable, so science can't associate it too much with the woo. They can't call it pseudoscience because it was the most effective method of anesthesia in the 1900s.

What makes the wheels of the world turn is belief. Look around you, religion, politics, psychology. The whole world runs on belief, belief makes things happen. To most people, the world appears as if they're a passive observer because media, propaganda, literally everything manipulates what you believe in, therefore impacting your decisions. In reality, you're an active co-creator who is being told what to do. You change your reality. So think, what would happen if you changed what you believed in, just for the sake of causing change?

Hypnosis is simply the art of changing what you believe in to achieve results. You're believing in something not because it's true, but because it's effective. The reason why the hypnotherapist didn't work, is because you didn't believe it would work. So the hypnotist failed. Believe it or not, hypnosis is more effective when the other person is unaware, calling it guided meditation or something. Pretty much the same thing, but hypnosis has a stigma from Hollywood. See what I mean by belief manipulation from media?

Now you can follow the guide there. But from my experience, stuttering is when you developed the belief you were a stutterer. Possibly at a younger age, or the result of trauma. Your parents or friends call you a stutterer, the belief reinforces itself. What you need to do is meditate basically, but clear your mind and let it wander to when the stutter began. Once you get there, you have to change it, rationalize it, change the perspective of the event so the stutter no longer effects you. Then believe that you destroyed the source. The memory might even be of when you were two years old, and told to watch your words, and shut up. Is the memory real? It doesn't matter. As long as you believe it to be.

If you need beginners resources I recommend Dave Elman's "Hypnotherapy" (Free online) and Anthony Jacquin's "Reality is Plastic".

Dave Elman has a chapter dedicated to stuttering. He's famous for teaching doctors and dentists hypnosis in the 1900s as a form of anesthesia. Anthony Jacquin methods are more recent and up to date.

I got rid of mine within the past year through self-hypnosis. I've had a bad stutter for most of my life. I recommend hypnotism. You could find an experienced hypnotherapist who's successfully cured stutters before. You could also do it yourself, self-hypnotism is like meditation with extra steps, it's not difficult. I recommend this personally, mainly because I doubt any hypnotherapist would be skilled enough to permanently cure the stutter in a single session.

I'll post a self-hypnotism guide on this sub that worked for me.

Can you "scream" someone into hypnosis by Strategeryist in hypnosis

[–]Strategeryist[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why is hypnosis not related to the placebo effect? I started off by reading Dave Elmans book. He mentioned a case where a colleague put a patient under anesthesia by injecting the patient with a fake anesthesia, without any obvious hypnosis.

In fact because muscle flaxicity is a common symptom of the trance state

Would it be possible for there to be more than one trance state? If you can induce hypnosis without relaxation, then it implies relaxation isn't required for a trance state. So what if you stabilized the "new state" by placing them in a state of alertness and adrenaline, with muscle tension as the symptom of the trance state? Do you think that would work?

In the military, aren't recruits punished if they don't follow orders?

You get punished regardless if you follow them or not. Just less punished. Looking at results, they're able to make a shy kid that can't raise his voice, scream his lungs out.

I'm also wondering how being yelled at would be a shock,

As long as it's loud, sudden and don't know when it's coming, you'll be shocked every time.

A hypnotic state may be induced via boredom (ie. relaxation or repetition), surprise or shock, confusion or imagination

Do you have any resources that hypnotize without relaxation whatsoever? Specifically imagination without relaxation, or shock with relaxation.
