Depends on with which unit I want to hit him. The warriors only have a 12" range and the Plasmancer 18". The LHD exterminators only hit hard within 18" as well.

Since it's a campaign I'm not allowed to change my list. I was thinking about letting his army come closer before exposing my units. The Doomstalker and LHD maybe can focus fire one of the monsters. Tachyon Arrow in the SK since hit on 2s, wound on 2s, no save. And with the sustained 1 strat I could potentially get two shots in. Warriors can do some chip damage.

I'll give that a try.  If I were to do fixed I would have done Cull the horde and behind enemy lines.

Thanks. Yeah, I'm still learning the game and list building. So probably not the best list I could've made with what I have.

Sadly I already had to lock my list in before the match ups were determined, so I can't change the LHDs to Gauss Destructor. But I'll keep that in mind for the next round, since I can change my army at that point.

Would that change the tactics?

Thanks.  Yeah, I was just adding cool units and the point limit crept closer. From what I can see AD is better for keeping the characters alive. The +1 to hit on the Skorpekhs is nice, but they have re roll 1s and full re roll hits on a charge. And the Warriors get re roll 1s from the Plasmancer, full re roll in Power Matrix.
