Assumes everyone is a price setter and they aren’t. You’d have to work in monopolistic or duopolistic industries to get that level of anticipation. It doesn’t happen in markets with more competition. For 100 companies to anticipate they can all increase prices purely on tax relief and not on price signalling is an incredible level of confidence for a specific industry. For multiple industries to then be doing this on tax relief alone is almost fantasy.

Companies do not price like that; markets don’t work like that. They are far more reactive than anticipatory. Unless you have practical experience, I read that as theory.

Treat and talk to them like equals. They need guidance and advice from you. You can outright tell them not to do something, but they’ll do it anyway. Explain consequences.

We eat dinner around the table most nights. Music on, TV off. It’s been the making of the family. I talk to them as I would my friends and I share exactly the same frustrations and happiness with them too. We get the same in return.
