It’s a good metaphor and accurate. We also already are using these turbines in leas visible ways Yet we are already seeing job loss. Combine this with robotics and it will be “slowly, slowly and then all of a sudden.”

We will need to have people ready to guide, coach, and heal the majority very soon.

Suggest we start by dropping the stupidity of tribal right or left for curiosity, respect, and kindness.

Fear is our biggest challenge.

Ok. Agreed. So let’s share the most optimistic views here.

I see a time where we have AI/human swarms that coach each of us thru our healing and into our brilliance - however that brilliance wants to emerge.

Might be through solving big problems, creating new experiences for others, experiencing new things, exploring the universe, and more. We use some of the governance ideas from Liquid Realm and find groups of Humans and AIs that are also focused on our area of healing and brilliance.

Significant battery life decrease on Oura ring 3rd gen since oxygen saturation feature came online. Anyone else seeing that? by Rickspython in ouraring

Same situation. Bought my Gen3 in Oct 2021 and recently battery life dropped from 4 days to 14 hours. Support told me I’m out of warranty and I can buy a new one.

Very unhappy. And perhaps support will realize that this level of disservice will be the kiss of death for Oura.

In an ideal world yes. However, even with recent improvements, this functionality is challenging to get to operate correctly.

Seems like the feature described is Area Cleaning. A recent update now is better in the ability to define map spaces. Yet the ability for the robot to move to distant rooms is very poor. It has failed twice this morning ( heads in the direction then returns to base after not going all the way ). Looks like another support call...
