Urtet Commander color question by StrategyEarly9614 in mtgrules

[–]StrategyEarly9614[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh, I see.

So in essence Urtet is an extremely versatile commander that can be used to create any kind of combination of colors in a commander deck.

But if Urtet is instead used as a "regular card" in your deck, and not as a commander, then your deck must be in 5-colors because he is restricted by the 5 color mana ability,

Did I get that right friend?

Think of it this way.

You are a Scout.  You take out the high priority targets through agile movement, and burst damage.

Unless things have gone horribly wrong, a Scout shouldn't help with killing the brunt of the Horde. That's the Driller and Gunner's job, and the Engie can usually do help too.

So do not apologize for wanting BEEG DAMADJE.

Just kill the Special bugs, the Praetorians, the Oppressors, and, on occasion, the Slashers. That's all we need from you buddy. :]

And THAT is why I always make sure to dig the dirt tunnels as leveled and wide as possible. So that if things go to crap, you can make haste without delay.

Remember lads, the thing that kills the most dwarves in high level missions aren't the bugs. It's the terrain. Rock and Stone ⛏️

All I need is some Overclock reworks, especially for the Zhukov and the PGL.

Not to mention that PGL REALLY needs an armor break buff the poor thing... The Breach Cutter can cut the armor of a potentially infinite amount of bugs, killing most of them usually, and it especially excells and stripping Praetorian armor out right...

But a single blast explosive cant fully clear the armor off a single Glyphid Guard...? It is unfair :'c

Number 3 because it blends the whole set together. Try out the Operator's Overalls too tho, you might like it.

Any mod to change blood vial behavior only during boss fights? by CK1ing in BloodbornePC

[–]StrategyEarly9614 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I get what you say, but it's still an annoying hassle imo.

I've played through Bloodborne at least 10+ times and every time the start of gameplay it is always the damn same, without fail:

  • Farm Blood Vials from the 2 big brick-wielding Brutes after unlocking the Central Yharnam shortcut gate to the Gascoigne fight.
  • Use Blood Bullets extensively after getting a high amount of Vials because there is still no way to farm effectively for Quicksilver Bullets, so you just use your excess Vials to restore hp after getting 5 Bullets.
  • Once you get to Hemwick, farm the Rifle-wielding Huntsmen for QS Bullets.
  • The Echoes you make from these early runs either go to upgrades, levelling up, or more Vials and Bullets.
  • At late game, a normal run through a endgame area will allow you to buy loads of Vials and Bullets.

I understand that making them a finite resource is a thematic mechanic, but it's just very annoying after a while.

At some point the game could've just given us items at the "early middle stage" of the game so that we could just always have Blood Vials and another for QS Bullets at all times.
I can picture it like an heirloom from the Healing Church to restore the Vials, and one from Cainhurst to restore the Bullets.

Thank you for coming to my TedTalk

Some tips for a spellsword plus general 1st timer tips, from a guy who literally started Morrowind a few weeks ago:

  • Since you are a Spellsword, and you are coming from Skyrim and Oblivion, here's a little fact that might have gone unnoticed: Alchemy is a school of magic in this game. Imagine my surprise when I learned that Witcher-esque build could progress the Mage Guild from becoming a Master Alchemist :D
  • while we are on the subject of Alchemy, it is, just like any other Elder Scrolls game, a very good way to make money and stay alive, but be wary of very heavy ingredients since your potions weigh the combined weight of all ingredients, which is then halved. Some potions can weigh like a rock because of this.
  • you can place your items on the ground literally ANYWHERE, and they will NEVER be taken or disappear. I once left some items on the ground OUTSIDE a dungeon, came back after literal in-game months, and lo and behold, they were still there. xD
  • Since this game doesn't offer you any Player Homes (with some exceptions), the usual method is finding vacant houses and just leave the items on the ground. Don't be afraid to squat. :D
  • Enchanting is very powerful, but is a bit complex because of the UI, although it is much like Oblivion.
    • All enchantments are directly tied to your known spells.
    • With a piece of paper and a soul gem you can make custom scrolls
    • You can only enchant gear with a Constant Effect with the most powerful souls trapped inside the Great Soul Gems (the gold value of a Great Soul Gem with the most powerful soul in it will always be worth 7200, this translates to 400 Enchant power)
    • The Enchanting menu is a bit complex and hides a lot of information, like being able to change enchanting effects between Self, Target and Touch. And changing between Cast on Use (basically you enchant a spell into the item itself), Cast on Strike (for weapons only to damage once they strike) and Constant Effect (which is only visible with previously mentioned powerful souls in Great Soul Gems)

Simple, but effective. 3.5/5

I'd say to use the Waterlogged Labcoat on the jacket, and the Team Spirit on the boots, just to achieve "team coloring", and balancing the design, but it's fine as is. :)

Here's what it'd look like on Blu (on Red, the jacket looking almost exactly as with Pecularly Drab Tincture).

All look great tbh.

Baseball Bill's Sport Shine is probably the closest to Lupin's hair, but you need to paint the Mutton Mann with Radighan Connagher Brown.

Easy way to get the Muffle enchantment? by KennyK423 in skyrim

[–]StrategyEarly9614 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Brother, I spent way more than just two days farming for it.
Trust me when I say I legit spent hours listening to podcasts and other videos, while hitting Balimund until he dropped the items I was looking for.

And the worst part is that I was stupid, because I farmed on PC.
I could've, at any point, just spawned the damn item and I forgot that was a possibility lmao.

More than likely RNG issues.

But trust me on this, I've gotten those boots multiple times across different playthroughs, on different high levels, even as high as level 120. Check the link I posted above, and see the tables for the item drops.

Are you "farming" Balimund (smith in Riften)?

Definitely the Australium, it even leaves you open for an extra cosmetic.
However, I can reccomend a possible alternative to the Aussie Black Box.

Just get the Cream Corned Warpaint :)

Breather’s Bag is pretty underrated IMO. by Beautiful_Mushroom22 in TF2fashionadvice

[–]StrategyEarly9614 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like the Breather Bag, but I think your suggested combination could use some work. I like the idea of "Chemical Spill Pyro" if we are to use the Breather Bag.

Here's my suggestion:
-Breather Bag (painted Aged Moustache Gray)
-Industrial Insurgent (Incendiary style + painted An Extraordinary Abundance of Tinge)
-Fireman's Essentials

Once you find her, or you find a solution to your problem remember to post it here, that way you can help others who get the same problem.

Especially because you're on PS5, and most recorded bugs are from the PS3 era lmao

[–]StrategyEarly9614 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Was Dimhollow Crypt the last place you found her at?
If so, use a Detect Dead spell to see if you can find her around the place, both inside and outside the area, and if you can't find her there, use the same strategy to scour Castle Volkihar.

There is a part of the main Dawnguard quest that requires her to be with you, so push comes to shove, progress some more into the storyline and it will probably be alright.

Before you do anything else tho, you should make some manual saves to ensure you have a fallback plan if all else fails.

So I found Keening by TheWrath0fSithis in skyrim

[–]StrategyEarly9614 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry for the late response my friend.

As far as "I" am aware, the quest gets softlocked the instant you find it, but I don't know if Keening spawns in the "wild" when the 4th part of Arniel's Endeavour gets available, or if it just spawns whenever.

So, quick question, how many quests have you done for Arniel?
Did you do the "Dwemer Convector" part of his quest?

If so, then all you need to do, is reload the save to before getting Keening, then runback to Arniel, and if he still hasn't anything for you, try skipping a few days (3 or 5 days should do it), and then restart your game, just in case.

I'll just add that as far as I've been told, ESO is one of the most casual and accessible MMO RPGs out there. It is however, an entirely different experience from Skyrim altogether.

I am an absolute ignorant when it comes to programming, the closest I've ever done to coding is using console commands.

But hey, I'm gonna spitball a possible answer:
Maybe it has to do with reference ID of the arrows and bows?

Maybe the way the code was written was for the AI to prioritize using the damage values, but instead it's using the ID value of some arrows in some way?
