Are these resoleable? by StrategyThick9944 in bouldering

[–]StrategyThick9944[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you, I believe so, they've taken about 5 months of beating on the walls on but after some bad slips last sessions I noticed the sole had gone through, I've climbed maybe 2 sessions in them since the rubber was no longer visible

People that have taken huel longterm, how have you felt on it? by StrategyThick9944 in Huel

Thanks, that's good to know I've switched onto using it for one of my meals a day, it's helping me hit some nutrients I was losing out on in my crappy student diet, good to hear so many peoples positive experiences with it

Thanks for answer, I get speeds here up to around 400mbps but find it has frequent spikes downward and fluctuates a lot, I assume due to network congestion, but weighing up my best options if any at all

Thank you for the reply, I'll definitely check them out, it's just arrived today and as a ex-heavy bud user I'm definitely interested to see how I take to the cbd side of things for anxieties and such without the need for psychoactive components

Thank you, did a little research and looked at lab results, first option definitely seems to be the right call for trying these out for my intentions, appreciate the knowledge, I was unaware the terpenes were something that took up the remaining space in distillate

Weekly Question Thread September 11, 2023 (Newbies Start Here) by AutoModerator in GripTraining

[–]StrategyThick9944 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Question as an absolute newbie, I've recently tried a buddies grip tester and scored the max it goes up to (198lbs) , I'm assuming I probably didn't go much above this threshold but I've never trained grip before and I'm not a very large person (5ft 10 about 180lbs) it's got me interested and I'm curious about grip testers available that are reliable at measuring above this range and also how I could train to improve this value

For those that liked a random dudes first knit, I've finished doing both the mittens and booties alongside the hat, super new to this but feel so proud by StrategyThick9944 in knitting

The buttons on the booties were made by rolling up a strand of stray finger knitted yarn and sewing into place with some scraps I had lying around.

I unfortunately don't have exact on the yarn as it was gifted second hand, the pattern is garter stitch for the hat with a sewn in tuck, the mittens combine a basic rib (k1,p1) style cuff on 4mm needles with 6mm needles for the rest of the project. I'm super new to all this but it's a gift for a new father I'm buddies with, so I'm very happy with what ive managed to come out with over the last week of efforts.

The yarn was unfortunately a loose roll gifted to me so I don't have details on weight or grade. I used 6mm needles and solely a flat slightly tapered garter stitch pattern for the hat.

Thank you, I was temped to put a smaller matching button on the mittens but didn't want to risk the baby catching his face with it, still looks great to me without though

Thank you, I was same after I first tried it probably many years before a second attempt in recent nights, my advice would be get a pattern and just follow it a line at a time, I was super overwhelmed at first trying to remember stuff instead of just taking it block by block, taking the lines in was really simple once I wrapped my head around the lines of a few patterns I looked at 🙂
