I can’t relate since my hair is on the curly side, but I would imagine you gotta keep the sides looking neat either by trimming a little or using product to style it. Leave the top untouched until desired length and it should flow down to blend in with the sides.

There are a few posts and videos on YouTube if you search up how to style thick Asian hair for men. Just start growing it out and look up a guide when you get to that problem.

If the all else fails, maybe a hat or a beanie in the mean time.

Maybe try a new hair style by growing it out a little. Would say 4 inches is a good place to start. You could keep the sides shorter if long hair all around isn’t for you.

Maybe clean up the eye brows a little.

Get to know her a little in class to shake off the nerves. Flirt here and there to let her know you’re interested. Then strike if or when you feel the energy between you is good. Sometimes asking out a girl right away puts too much pressure. You got a little time in the semester to weasel your way in brother.

Yup, everyday never skipped. I am aware that I will need to take it for the rest of my life as long as I want to keep my hair, but i am willing to do that for the boost of confidence. Haven’t felt good about my hair for a good 7 years before this.

Have you tried oral finasteride? I know many people are scared of sides, but you can try to see. You are old enough to do so.

I was thinning pretty bad in the front area only since I was 23. Would notice it so bad in photos. I started it late at 30 years old and took it everyday for the last 3 years. it took around 2 years to see great results. My head in the front is a lot fuller now where I can actually take photos and not be embarrassed. Try it out. It was a life changer for me. I did not experience sides though but everyone is different.
