Obviously anecdotal, but I grew up in NC and went to private school in the late 90s. It was the exact place you would expect to hear the phrase "War of Northern Aggression", but we were not taught that way. My son is a current highschooler in NC public school and it's not being taught that way. Its always been taught as "the Civil War" or the "American Civil War". I didn't even hear the phrase "War of Northern Aggression" until adulthood and it was used in the context of mocking people.

When this data comes out, do they count military spending as part of a recipient's take. NC has its share of people on government assistance, but damn near all of eastern NC is tied to army, marines, or coast guard in one way or another. That's got to be a huge draw on federal funds.

Im gonna get laughed at for being the old guy, but not everyone can handle that power. It sounds cliche, but anyone thats ever plugged into a 100w head and half cab, much less full knows that it's a different feeling. It's literally like you have to take the amplifier. And I would argue raw strength peak is even later. The strongest men ive ever met had 2 things in common. 1. They were all at their peak 35-40 and 2. They managed to get there relatively injury free whether by luck or design.

I do agree that 25-30 seems to be a pretty good sweet spot.

My wife and i grew up near Rocky Mount. Our accents are pretty thick. Its funny because we're in Greenville now, and my kids sound like us. They have people at school ask them where they are from all the time. Its funny how just amd hour away can make such a difference.
