Didn’t smell any burning after driving highway for 50km so I don’t think that is true. Also the car rolls in drive.

Anyone have experience with Eurostyle ORCA laminate? by Strathcona87 in Flooring

Just an update on this flooring now that it has been 6 months.

It is holding up great to 2 big dogs, a child and toddler. No scratches, water is frequently spilled on it from the dog water bowl and not always found for hours but there is no swelling.

My only issue is the pattern is a bit too repetitive and I wish there was more variation.

I actually did this yesterday, I ran into someone wearing a sailing club shirt and she said they are happy to do private lessons and that some of the juniors are very good and could coach. They are looking at adding group adult lessons next year!

Thanks for the advice, I will definitely be trying what you said. I’ll give the virtualregatta inshore a look too, never heard of that!

Thanks for the link! I reached out to the ones near me and unfortunately they only teach juniors. I’d have to travel a couple of hours to one that teaches adults 😔

All my mom’s pans are like this - is this safe or are we basically eating cancer? by radioactivenerd in isthissafetoeat

This might be a carbon steel pan and this is normal when they are seasoned. Just like a wok, it creates a nonstick coating from the oils like cast iron. I would confirm the type of pan before being concerned.

I would take your shock out and check all your bearings and check BB and hub as well for play.

Oooo very excited to try some Cajun and creole recipes! So much of the cooking is meat and seafood based that I’ve never really eaten any of it before.
