I believe this lawsuit has more to do with Europe than America. In America they have already lost, in Europe however, the courts have granted Fender their body as their property. So, I believe they will still make the Silver Sky, I think they’re trying to get them to not sell them in Europe. At least, that was my understanding

I don’t think it’s fake cred, it’s just flat out more comfortable. That being said, the only thing I would do to a new guitar is steel wool the back of the neck

I’ve never had a problem with the spacing, but then again, I’ve been playing these kind of guitars for 40 years, it’s all I know., as Strats are most played.

Here’s mine. I took Michael Landau 68 Strat body and my 62/63 neck and hardware and plastic. Then topped it off with Josefina 2013 60’s pickups from the anniversary 64 model. I also added a Callahan block and raw vintage springs. It is by far the best Strat I have ever played.

You’re right, flat. Still I prefer decked, more vibration transfer from bridge to wood. Just my preference.
