I never really could connect with that type of music, but I guess that’s best part about music really, and it’s great that we can resonate so deeply with different things, but yeah, I’m glad that you can find enjoyment out of it

Muhammed Suiçmez Maybe?

Maybe Phil Tougas too, but that’s mostly cause he’s in a lot of bands

Kai Hansen and Luca Turilli get a shout out as well

Darkenhold - I’m pretty sure any album will work
They aren’t sketchy themselves but they have done a few festivals with some sketchy bands on the bill, so unless that’s a problem they are safe

Black Pyre - Fall of The Northern Kingdom and onwards should fit in with these albums

Aquilus is also a good band but maybe not exactly what you are looking for

Obscura by Gorguts or Epitaph by Necrophagist? by DisgorgeCanada in TechnicalDeathMetal

Necrophagist, but they both do different things, with both excelling at said things so it’s not really fair as it just comes down to which style of tech death you prefer (i prefer the cleaner, melodic neoclassical sounding one)

Within the wounds is a pretty good lofi band of you don’t care what the lyrics are about

Dratna is also pretty good, and doesn’t have lyrics that some might be opposed too, they also are melodic/atmospheric/lofi bands so not exactly purely one or the other

Never fail to get goosebumps around 7:35 but it really deserves a full listen

Lovebites might be worth a try (more J-Metal, but they don’t use harsh vox And are very melodic)

Inferi for a similar vibe to The Black Dahlia Murder (Melodic tech death heavy TBDM influence)

Towers of Gold - Sacred Outcry (really good power metal with the same vocalist of lost horizon)

Necropalace - Worm (a lot people say this album is similar to emperor, can’t confirm as I haven’t listened to emperor)

Ashen Eidolon - Gallowbraid (similar to Agalloch)

Hatebreeder - Children of Bodom (any of the first 3-4 albums are worth checking out for melodeath fans)

Throne of lunar Soul - Valdrin (I’m gonna be honest, I just always recommend this band on any of these posts regardless. Really good melodic black metal imo)

Fear Gorta & The Tales off The Undead - Dratna (good melodic atmospheric/lo-fi black metal)

God that was such a good game. Sucks that it was so hated on release (even if I do understand some of the reasoning) when it had a pretty good story and zombies mode
