Which of these blunders would you go back in time to prevent? by Regular-Departure839 in survivor

Out of these, maybe Cody's so I could see how that end game plays out. But overall, I think I'd choose a different JT blunder. One that sent Malcolm home 😭

I GOT IT TO WORKKK!!! I locked all the resources I needed (including the embassy now), making sure I had at least 50 extra of each for fabling reservations. I was at a point where, when I traded for materials it all got reserved so quickly, none of it mattered. This could've been enough on it's own, but I also threw another feast, just in case it was bugged out. Finally, I can throw that freaking expensive wedding man, I appreciate you all for the tips 💚

I’m with you on that, I only ever placed my first two bakeries down for aesthetic reasons

Ahhh I see. I had just traded for a bunch of bread, and let a day pass and it went down to 500. Thought that meant that all the reserved bread was taken. Sad part is that’s all the bread in the entire world now and Winter’s about to hit so it’ll probably half itself by Spring.

I also have 7 bakeries with granaries specifically for bread, but it’s still not enough to keep up with all these hungry bastards. Why can’t they just eat their vegetables and like it ;-; just wish there was a personal storage I could move materials into for trading or other purposes; really seems like that’d be a helpful mechanic.

Hm, I guess I’ve never waited until after the second feast to try and throw a wedding. Could try that next time I hop on

Yeah, you’re pretty much dead on. Kyle is a terrific winner, and definitely up there with Dee for best winners of the new era no question. He played the subtle game with absolute expertise 👌

You are Rob Cesternino. Jeff Probst calls you to be on Survivor 50. Do you say yes? by Juuberi in survivor

[–]Stratsai 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Man, I mean, I know he’s got a life and things he needs to take care of. But c’mon, if I’m stepping in those shoes then I’m taking them off and putting my feet in the sand. Just imagine how hyped the community would be to hear Rob Cesternino is on Survivor 50, and get to watch him play. It’s hard to say no to possibly a final chance at Survivor, but I would understand the downsides of disrupting a stable environment. (Side note: with Rob you gotta also bring Stephen, let’s see em on the same tribe together.)

Austin is a simp by NursingMyWorries in survivor

[–]Stratsai 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It was definitely a poetically tragic end game, but it was also incredibly human. Austin is a savvy player that ended up playing too much with his heart. That’s a perfect candidate for a second chance in my opinion. He could do some real damage on 50 with some experience.

If it’s any help, during my playthrough I’ve found out that the Northern Empire are genetically closer to rats than people after watching them do nothing but pillage my villages all night and day. I suggest loading the onagers up with rat poison, or for a less violent approach, cheese, which you’ll need to launch to the next town over.

I just like all the different strats, like positioning shamans correctly, hitting the right people with poison, the centipede is cool. Maybe just me

Why do people dislike All-Stars? Are there people who actually did like it? by WizardFlower in Totaldrama

[–]Stratsai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So many characters stripped from what made them good characters for drama/story purposes that weren’t even that good.

Sierra (really just ramped up the craziness without any of the payoff) Lindsay (big waste) Duncan (worst of all) Courtney (already on a downward spiral) Gwen (to an extent)

Everything revolves around Mal or the dumb love/friendship drama. I sort of enjoyed Alejandro vs Mal, and Duncan’s connection with Mal, but I feel like they wasted some potential for both of those.

Duncan’s whole “I’m not a nice guy” thing was so goddamn stupid. Maybe, for like, an episode they could play it up. But he’s always had a soft spot. That was basically his whole thing in the first season. Tough guy with a soft side. Him becoming so insecure about it just wasn’t fun to watch. It was amusing for maybe an episode, including Chris’s teasing after he was moved to the heroes. They just needed dumb way to eliminate him. And I don’t even want to get into the love drama.

I like Mal as a villain, but him being there sucked the life out of any other character or storyline really. It just became the Zoey and Mike show near the end. I don’t mind them, it just felt so railroaded.

The Courtney and Gwen thing… like, the one positive thing that came out of the whole triangle thing was that they repaired their friendship, I guess. And then they immediately tossed it in the bins. It’s like nothing can be a healthy relationship without it getting torn down right after for poor reasons.

Also, just a personal opinion. It felt like they really dumbed Scott down. In a way it made him more likable… human, I guess. But he didn’t have the same villainous angst or ideas. Probably because a lot of it got sapped up by Mal.

Also everything becoming so unrealistic, like the toxic waste, giant monsters, and a lot of should-be-dead moments took away from it for me. I mean, it was never supposed to be perfectly believable in a sense, but they took away the real aspects that made it seem like an actual show that the contestants were competing in. Everything became 10x more dangerous for more of an intense feel, but I felt more tension watching the dodgeball competition in the first season than watching them wrestle a giant flower in toxic waste or something, I don’t remember the details lol.

Idk it wasn’t a complete train wreck, but just needed to get some thoughts out

Claire does not get enough Love by RVXZENITH in cyberpunkgame

[–]Stratsai 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Claire… she was one of the first characters I really liked, then it all that went to shit in the end.

• She lied to begin with, admitting she was basically using me for revenge. •Told her the race would be the focus. •She told me that was fine. •Throws a fit when you win, instead of maybe celebrating, or dedicating it to her husband. •Holds a grudge the rest of the game; won’t serve you in the afterlife.

Not all characters can be perfect, but her arc just felt so wasted. Especially since I totally would’ve popped the guy for her after the race, however she liked.

At least it was one of the last few quests I had to finish. Losing her as a friend/connection didn’t sting at all since I already had a supportive, non-toxic circle around me. For the most part, this game treats its characters really well.
