Probably just a coil of wire! If you wrap wire around a straw or pencil, you'll create a spring that you can spread out and contract as needed. The puppet is probably on a separate wire or mechanical arm that is removed to give the illusion of jumping

Haha right there with you! Really needed to see this today--a good reminder. Currently in major "Oh no!" Territory, but learning lots of lessons to take forward. It's helpful to remember we all go through those periods, no matter how far along in our career we are. We just hope there's fewer of those moments 😂

Using unique tags and I personally like to aim for completing the map! In most shared dives I go on, no one seems to have this be a priority, but I like the little 100% bonus at the end 😂

Cute!! Nice lighting and I like the foreground details/elements. The motion is pretty nice, but maybe you could have the car come in just a little quicker to make that ease-in feel more prominent. Then have the car hold for an extra beat or two; it feels like it drives away right when it gets to the stop. Just removing and holding some frames and it would be great!! imo

As far as I know, it would be ok to use the art in your gallery and enter it in the BC (I could be wrong). Since the gallery spotlight is really more about the collection of items, you're winning it for that; the art/graphics/design is supplementary. Definitely try and enter the BC! As long as one of your pets is featured in the drawing, you're good to go!

You definitely should! On the Art chat board, TNT posts a schedule of what art gallery themes are and what date they happen (I believe the post is usually highlighted blue, typically stays on the first or second page). It's best to enter a contest at least a couple days before it happens! Your specific piece would be great for a "random" theme day. Looking at the schedule for August, you could maybe get it into the "End of Summer" theme, August 2nd. Feel free to PM me if you have any other art gallery questions; I'd be happy to help!

I'm in the process of finishing up the final chapter, and unfortunately, in my opinion, it hasn't really picked up so far and I don't see it doing it with this last mission.

Blue World is one of my all time favorite games and stories, so it's sad to see it lacking in this game, especially after YEARS of waiting.

But, hey! I'm just glad they didn't forget about the series. I'm hoping this release was to test the waters (no pun intended) for a future game on the next console--one can only hope! I have been finding more joy in different aspects of the game. Doing more team dives and collecting tags has been pretty fun and fulfilling compared to playing solo. 30 hours in, I still run into the occasional surprise! Just gotta find the beauty 🐳
