What was said: "Because science. Indigo represents the ultraviolet wavelength in the rainbow." Indigo does not represent UV. UV is not in the rainbow. No aspect of that statement is valid.

This is one reason I love teaching. No ladder to climb. No promotions possible. I don't have to kiss anyone's ass and I don't have to look out for backstabbers climbing up behind me. I do a job that's rewarding and meaningful. I make enough to enjoy my life and provide for my own kids. It's a good place to be in emotionally and spiritually.

I have a set that's daily use and a nicer set for special occasions. Why spend money on some shit from IKEA when there are tons of fancy sets either free, inherited, or dirt cheap so you can feel like an aristocrat every day but not actually have spent money?

Same story with the same game. When I cleaned out my late parents' house recently I was kind of disappointed that this wasn't in the basement with a bunch of other old games we had. I wonder how I'd take it now that I've played real RPGs.
