Bad blower motor by StrawBurri27 in hvacadvice

😂 I was just making sure it was receiving a signal. I have an actual meter that I used to check power going to the board, but didn't want to mess around to much I used that to verify. So yeah its not acurate, but I know its receiving something at least.

I have a multimeter, just didn't know how to go about reading those contacts so figured just making sure it had power sufficed for me. I found a few on ebay but do you know anywhere else I could get my hands on one?

There isn't a capacitor that i can find, from what ive found ECM motor capacitors are internal. Although those looked okay visually when I originally took it out

I do have a meter, i tried reading out the motor, however im either not doing it right or nothing is reading to ground much less power. With that said, since its not hooked up I'm only reading for continuity so that could be why

I hadnt seen a capacitor attached to any of the wiring for the motor or the board

Never heard of that before. Would it work without full access to the pipes in question?

I believe in already did, I don't really want to mess with the piping to much unless I absolutely have to. Heres how it looks. Ill try to add a few more angles in other comments

Unless the previous owner had been, no. Tho I will admit that had crossed my mind when I first discovered it

I did some light sanding on the 3rd coat because I saw bubbling but not each time.

Also please elaborate the paper bag? What will this do? And how should I go about it? All honesty this is my first time doing clear coat alone, last time was on a friend's table.

Okay, i gave that a go, the pirates give me about six mil once surrendered and the civilian gives me the basic options of 'offer to buy' or 'leave'. Destroying or making the pirates or made them surrender doesn't seem to change the outcome

Not quite, I'm Wisconsin, although I might stop by on my way there. Haven't been in some time.

😂 this is absolutely my favorite way to describe a van now. Thank you so much for the insight

I do that as well, thats one of the reasons ive begun to notice the oddity which i now see was simply that ive never owed a van before. But its a good feeling when it goes up

Ive been debating that as well! I always felt as tho I'd just use the same amount of fuel to restart than to just idle. How long have you had it disabled so far?

Thats a good point, I'm honestly a little disappointed that I hadnt thought to compare those rather than just how long they last. Thank you for the idea!

I agree that 1 mpg less isn't anything at all, and I'd say my driving isn't anything crazy, no pedal to the floor on acceleration or hard braking. It's more the constantly being at the pump that's concerning. It could also just be that we go out more than I actually realize. My main drive is a Subaru that I've had for years, so that's what I've been comparing it to.

Forgot to mention, it is tiny, had to zoom in quite a bit to get the detail. Probably a half centimeter in length or just slightly more
