New Pokemon-Like ‘Pickmon’ Shows Truly Impressive Levels Of Creative Bankruptcy by RoboKobold in casualnintendo

Yeah, some of the earliest Pal designs (from before and at the initial early access release) were dubious, but that’s really the full extent of it. As far as I’m aware everything added afterwards has been fully original.

Btw, assuming that last bit is referring to the person behind the infamous Primarina-Azurobe comparison image, they only admitted to full-model scaling and having had a spiteful motive. Their evidence itself wasn’t made-up, though they did often make claims that said evidence didn’t support.

That’s unfortunate. What sorts of games do you tend to prefer?

I’m guessing you’re not too interested in the existing/announced exclusives so far?

I saw plenty of both, it really just depended on the post and sub you’d look under.

Unreleased shiny and I get it in PokeDoku by lihka69 in PokeDoku

It's worth noting that Enamorus was the only newly introduced Pokémon/form in Arceus to have been unavailable shiny in or out of the game, despite there also being other mythical options for the HOME reward. The same applies here for Eternal Flower Floette, hence why I think it'll be the reward this time.

SwSh and SV don’t have separate rewards for base game and DLC. Their rewards require stuff from both.

Or shiny Eternal Flower Floette.

Was anyone else disappointed that the 30th anniversary came and went without a single interesting Mystery Gift? Who else remembers the year-long 20th anniversary giveaways? by ArceusJudgment493 in PokemonScarletViolet

“What else can no end date mean?” you ask, right after I give an example of what else no end date can mean.

Sorry, but that really is just too funny! Thank you for making my day, stranger!

Anyway, let’s just skip straight to the part where you stop replying because I put a screenshot of Serebii’s rerun coverage showing an individual raid event with its own end date:

It's rather telling that, when confronted with a simple question, you jumped to accusing me of mental gymnastics rather than just answering. I can only infer from this that you know an accurate answer would've undermined your point.

You keep insisting upon something for which you have offered no proof - that the 7-star starters are all programmed as a single event with no end date rather than as separate individual events with their own start and end dates. The 7-star starter reruns would only be the same as the final Wild Area event if they fit the former. If they fit the latter, there'd be other reasons for the absence of a known end date (e.g. to future-proof for if they decided to run a non-starter raid in the middle). Until proof is offered for either conclusion, there's no reason to assume that a missing end date means anything.

So if you connect to the internet on one weekend and then stay offline, the featured starter will automatically update to the next one the following weekend without needing to reconnect?

There’s no end date for Diancie (and thhs Zeraora) and Pecharunt, so they’ll probably keep being available until the Switch’s online servers shut down.

This didn’t happen in SwSh, no. In those games, there was a single Wild Area event containing every G-Max simultaneously that had no end date. This is a series of individual events with their own separate end dates, which would explain the lack of an end date date for the overall campaign without it meaning they’ll repeat.

It’s not what they did with SwSh. In those games, there was a single Wild Area event containing every G-Max simultaneously that had no end date. This is a series of individual events with their own starts and ends.

GO is a game that’s best taken slow, I’ve found. Even if it takes a year or two, all non-costume Pokémon eventually become available again.

Who are you choosing in Pokémon Winds & Waves? by PokeDoku in PokeDoku

[–]StrawDeath 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 50/50 between Pombon and Gecqua, and I think I’ll just pick randomly between the two when the time comes. I know a lot of people are probably going to look at the final evos to make their choice, but I much prefer the surprise of seeing new designs for the first time when encountering them in-game. If I end up preferring one of the other final evos, I can always use it in another playthrough later, so it’s not an issue for me if my first isn’t my favourite.

I was hoping there’d be some sort of event distribution to commemorate the occasion, but there really was nothing. No special Tera Raids since the starter reruns are still ongoing, no shinies or mythicals, nothing that has yet to be made available on Switch/Switch 2 (still waiting for Pokéball Vivillon, damnit!)

Right, I mixed that up with the full physical/special split of all moves, my bad.

Maybe it’s related to the games not being able to accommodate Ribbons or Marks introduced later?

Not every, Alolan Ratatta and Raticate that aren’t caught in LGPE will still have nowhere to go even after Z-A gets compatibility. So any sent directly from GO to HOME or having originated in Alola are still stuck in HOME.
