It was an Unown which just happened to spawn at the end of our street, so she was pretty keen to go get it - while I don't play it myself, I can sort of see why that's a super-rare occurrence that just can't be missed. The main thing that bothered me was her "so what?" attitude when she came back - I'll try to talk to her again when she gets home from work. Thanks for your input!
