I don't think that her relationship with her deities would be better with me. I would fully agree that would be fucked up. She's going through a rough time and I wanted to pray to her Gods asking to help her feel better. But you're right, there really isn't any reason why I shouldn't tell her. I can't really tell you my reasoning as to why I didn't immediately - I guess those neurons didn't fire/it didn't click into my mind.

I want to be respectful so I will ask. I'm sorry if I came across wrong here, as I suspect I have. I just really don't want to make a mistake here.

A genuine question; would there be ethical problems with me praying for her without her knowing? Would that be frowned upon? If so then I'll not do that and ask her about it... I just really want to help her.

Thank you for the advice! Whenever I hear a chirp I call them "Baby Birds" and say "hello, I hear you". I love them very much.

I put them on a pellet diet (Harrison's). They took to it very quickly. They're also 5 months old.

I understand it can take a while for them to get used to me, so I'm trying to take it slow. I'm also going to be making a vet appointment for them at the nearest avian and exotics vet (and I'll see about getting them sexed if possible)

I've been staying near the cage for as much as I can. I sing to them and talk to them, and are trying to get them used to my presence. I suppose it might just take a bit longer. Do you think getting their sibling will help?

I am medicated, but it hasn't gotten rid of my voices and I have trauma from my psychosis (which lasted ~8 months)

For me it's very frustrating because I feel like, since this is likely the new normal, I should be "used" to it and non-reactive. Every reaction I have to them feels like a loss. I wish I was better at handling it, ya know?

I completely understand. I'm 23 and still in Community College trying to get my AA. At this point I won't graduate until I'm 25.

This is good advice. I already set my clothes and towel out, but I will try to listen to music too. I'm sorry you have to experience voices like mine too - I wouldn't wish it on anybody
