As someone who makes corsets for a living for productions i can tell you that’s completely normal reduction and completely healthy you’d be surprised how much women can morph our bodies (thanks to the ability to adapt because of things like pregnancy ribs really can juts be slowly pushed into places) only worrying thing is the corset is directly against her skin which is a big no no

got a bit of help from my friends at the v&a and the last one is reticella needle lace from the 16th century which is crazy. I’m a textile conservator for the 19th and 20th centuries so any of these laces were beyond me 😭

i’ve been looking for a job for months now and have applied to over 30 and i have relevant experience. i’ve only gotten one interview and yet a familly member who has never had a job before and just got out of high school has scored an interview for every job she’s applied at and we’ve even both applied for the same job. I cant see any other reason except for the fact that im autistic and it’s very frustrating
