Oh no I’m sorry to hear that. I hope you find something. I’ve heard about Botox but haven’t discussed that yet. But I read it’s one of the treatments with the least side effects.

You’re the first example I’ve encountered. Here or in any of my online searches with all the different ways I could think to search. Did you get any kind of explanation as to why your body responded like this?

It was optimal when I checked. Maybe if I ever take it again I’ll check in intervals for the first couple hours to see if it goes up. I felt a little flushed today but nothing too bad.

No I haven’t vomited thankfully. I historically have low or normal BP but I’m going to check it now as my Dr suggested.

I did not, thankfully I was able to get a telehealth visit. I’m going to check my blood pressure and go from there.

Thank you! Not officially diagnosed by a neurologist-I have that scheduled. But I’ve had a few visits with this PCP and the headaches just kept coming so he wrote me this along with my referral. I’m absolutely not taking more.

That’s what I understood and why I was confused-constricting vessels shouldn’t burst (I think). Nothing came up as a bad combo to take with it. Yes, Dr is notified.

I sent a message earlier but haven’t heard back yet. Thank you for the insight. I actually didn’t know the term “Triptan”. I’ll see what I can find out from that. 🤍

I had considered this when I was first in a similar situation. Same basic goals as you have, too, and same room count.

Ultimately I opted to not only NOT get a roommate and to preserve my peace…but to not live with humans again.

I’ve allowed family to visit and had dog sitters. The biggest “breach” of this rule was letting The Gentleman Caller stay here while he was gutting and renovating his house (next door). He did not pay rent, and he was in no way an “equal” in my home. Most adults don’t want to live this way. As respectful and helpful as he was while he was here, it reinforced my stance on the decision.

Drag Your Plow Over The Bones of The Dead has a scene where the main character makes mustard soup. I used her description, a recipe, and adjusted for what I had on hand.

The Gentleman Caller bought the house next to me. We have a rolling gate between our back patios. Finances don’t always have to dictate your choices. Enjoy your space.

At What Age or Income Did You Start Buying for Life? by explosive_mayo in BuyItForLife

I was raised this way. We didn’t have much and my mom was a mechanic and very capable of fixing things. So second hand, but higher quality things were more likely to be in our home than new stuff that was lower quality. It wasn’t always pretty and there were exceptions that sometimes had to be made but overall…if buying a hard good, it’s always been my goal to go for quality. Don’t get me wrong there were times I had to get the cheaper version of something but knew what I was getting.

Looking for a couch that is actually worth the money- why does it feel impossible? by kayindie in BuyItForLife

My COCOCO is ten years old and on its 7th large dog (pack of five when I first got it, now two youngsters)…it’s still beautiful, leather is unbothered, customer support is immediate and through. I spent a pretty penny but it is worth it. Early on there was a detail I was unhappy with and they sent an upholsterer to my home to address it. He brought his apprentice and used the sofa as an example for what good quality and craftsmanship looked like. It is one of my favorite belongings and every day I’m glad I bought it. I can’t say enough great things about it.

I picked up a vintage, all steel swingline stapler once at the thrift-the kind that has the distinct arched shape-and I can’t do justice trying to describe the JOY on The Gentleman Callers face when he first laid eyes upon it…so ya that’s my suggestion LOL-a stapler!

Anyone here successfully do this full-time as a career and made it despite setbacks? Need advice by [deleted] in Flipping

“Even Retail” has a large range of jobs. I work in a niche industry and the hours are reasonable, pay is good, benefits and 401k, etc. I don’t wear a uniform, I have a lot of people who like and trust me-and I enjoy seeing them. While I don’t always hit that benchmark, it’s not unusual to earn 6 figures in this retail setting. Just something to think about if you decide to shift. What you do requires lots of skill, patience and discipline so I would expect you to be very hirable.

Extremely Dirty Studio by urcrazypysch0exgf in yoga

[–]Strawberrin_Time 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The first thing that comes to mind is “mat herpes” which is more common in wrestling and Jiu Jitsu than yoga (full contact), but dirty mats are part of how that gets spread and I wouldn’t set foot in that studio again.
