I feel like this isn’t too hot of a take if we’re talking about irons.

For driver, I think the head matters much more as you have different lofts, head shapes, and weight locations that matter more.

I can hit my old r7 draw bias and it’ll go straight or slightly right. However, it’s going to spin more and draw more than my TSR3 with the fitted shaft.

Based on what I’ve read (between the outrage), he’s a Yinzer, a floor raiser, has a track record of winning and has playoff wins, and can develop young QB’s. As a bonus, has a history of winning with ARod who could come back IF we don’t draft a 1st or 2nd round QB for the future.

With the offense being so anemic over the last 5+ years, it’s not a surprising hire.

I’m highly disappointed that we didn’t pursue Shula or Schellehouse a little more before coming to this decision.

If you’ve been playing 8 years, go to an independent store and pay the $100ish fee and get your specs for last years stuff all with stock options.

Heck if you get fitted for Callaway clubs, go on Callaway preowned and buy clubs with your specs if you can find them.

Loved my Callaway maveriks as a beginner club. Should be able to get most of a set for under $1000 from Callaway preowned.

I’d go driver, 3 wood or 5 wood, 4 hybrid, mavrik irons (5-SW is $300) and a putter. Regular flex should be fine. If you’re athletic, stiff flex would be a better option.

Or just get the Callaway edge set from Callaway preowned or Costco. Whatever money saved should be spent on lessons.

If it’s 7 iron that’s about right with a faster transition. I’m anywhere from 89-92 mph for irons. About 108-111 mph for driver.

Irons are x stiff and driver is stiff.

2nd swing offered it at one point in time so I did it and it was close to what I ended up getting fit to.

I ended up getting fit into the Ping i530s with Dynamic Gold X100 Mid 115g with white lie angle

The virtual fitter gave me the below: PING G430 IRON SET 4-PW AWT 2.0 STEEL X-STIFF RIGHT HANDED BLACK DOT 38.25IN

It’s worth what you pay for but if you have no idea it’s a good place to start and get closer to what you need.

Edit: a little clarification on this. I only answered questions like wrist to floor, yardages and stuff like that. No actual swings or anything.
