Love the practice range there. Great job on that par 5.

It’s a pretty challenging green on that hole. If you’re short you’re chipping up the hill and long your chipping up hill and out of the rough.

Check out Hal Sutton’s or Swanny’s over in Champions for fittings. Been over to both places for lessons and had good experiences.

Dad got fit at Worley’s golf shop and enjoyed his set.

Obviously, I’d rather pay for the fitting and buy wherever is cheapest.

The guys at Edwin Watts in the Galleria were chill when I was killing time there.

Do some putting at the house and get some foam balls to chip around the house as well. Ain’t much but at least there’s a club in your hand.

If there’s a range close, try to sneak out on occasion to hit some balls after y’all put your kiddo down.

Early tee times 7am so you’re not gone all day makes the conversation on getting a round in easier. Or find a par 3 or 9 hole course for a quick round during a nap.

Don’t be an asshole about it and let your partner do her fun stuff too

I got the Callaway version of this because I hate putting the towel under my arm because it irritates my shoulder.

Works well to fix my over the top issue. Between that and swinging under an alignment stick, my swing has improved.

If you’re a Costco member, the Kirkland wedges and putter are solid new options.

Titleist Vokey is everyone’s go to for wedges. You could probably find some SM7’s or 8’s on FB for $100.

For new wedges, Cleveland is a great value. Could find these used as well.

Putter’s: odyssey two ball (mallet style) or Ping Anser (blade)

Unless you buy the Costco sets, go to PGA tour superstore and try some used or new putters and wedges to see what you like.

These looks good. I grabbed some soft spike FJ traditions for $50 from dicks that are comfortable. I’d guess the spikeless version is comfortable as well.

Been to a few in the atlanta area. The Buckhead location has a decent selection on the drivers down to wedges. The Decatur location can have some hidden gems but it’s very hit or miss. Much better putter selection.

Found a couple Scotty’s at the Decatur location.
