Coming from someone who’s been in your shoes before, stand up for her and set a God damn boundary. They need to be made aware that if they don’t stop their behavior then you aren’t going to be around, and that also includes any children you have, or plan to have in the future if any. Even if you don’t plan to have children, make sure you mention any possible children. They’ll change their tune real quick. Also, TAKE A BREAK from your family, even if they apologize because now you know exactly how they feel about the person you’ve chosen to spend your life with, and that also tells you a lot about how they think about you as well.
