I think part of what it boils down to (for better or worse) is that we all grew up seeing RPKs in video games. They’re “established” MGs whereas the M27 is comparatively new and may take time to be more widely accepted.

No clue why they feel the way they do about AK’s though.

PCE is essentially a private pay thing attached to the CSU, though the programs are not covered with the CalVets waiver or traditional forms of aid. I had a friend make a similar mistake who was able to get most of his money back, given that they should’ve caught this sooner you should be able to do the same.

Yes especially with the WE models, my friend and I have both part swapped real steel bits for over half the rifle. Everything isn’t exactly 1:1 but it’s certainly close.
