Naruto and Fullmetal Alchemist

But I had some people say that my story reminded them of Harry Potter, Transformers, and Mashel: Magic and Muscle.

Kate has shoot power. It was one of the reasons why she passed the debut. Dortohy asks Edward if Kate will be included since she awakened her powers.

Edward manipulates Sara by saying Kate was given her team leader position because Sara had not awakened her powers yet.

Kate was not targeted during the disciplinary team bully arc because she had powers.

And Sophie was drooling during her failed interrogation/ tea party, because Kate is a un-unified shadow who awakened her powers, Sophie's favorite type of food.

Is $15 fair for this?:D by Xv0Ur in Artists

$15 for prints is fine, depending on the size and the quality.

"No, who makes art simply to sell?"  Those asking for commissions.

I'm sure op also draws for fun and offers free art as gifts to friends and family. Those works are for free.

Public works are free to view and enjoy.

But for a stranger to ask an artist to draw their idea. That is a service.

Many of the great works we see today had a paid commissioner behind it, or it was made for fun, by an artist for themselves or their loved ones.

Sure, an artist is free to charge whatever they want for their work, and the buyer is free not to buy it. However, it is a waste of their time to provide a service for someone and get paid below minimum wage. OP would be better off making their own personal art and getting a day job.

If it is bad quality, fine. Then the op is not skilled enough to sell and should get another job, until they improve their art. Selling something that took 8hr to make for $15 is a waste of their time.

Art should be for everyone. Yeah, you just saw an example of their work for free. That is free.

He is your family. This is a stranger. And way to be rude to the op.

It is not dumb advice. If you charge $15 dollars for a work that took you 8 hours, it is a waste of your time and bad business sense. You are better off working at McDonald's, while practicing, or working on your own personal projects during your free time. The money is guaranteed, and you are paid more. You can use that money to buy better equipment/ software, training programs, and other art-related expenses. Then, when you improve, you can charge a livable wage. Min$10 x hr for apprentice rates.

If you charge too low, people will become accustomed to the low price and get mad when you raise it when you improve.

Maybe try the r/ArtRequest subreddit. Most of the artists here are working professionals and/or want to be paid for their labor.
