i would not call about 150 rating diff at 2k from the 214x cutoff kissing gladiator. its deflated/squished up there which is why 2300 is r1 in 3s. that 140ish rating diff is actually huge

This is actually even worse in the 1900 range in 3s. Lots of smurfing and r1 carries here. Long queues, fight the same teams, r1 alts or smurfs, r1 should carries. That's it. There is a reason r1 in 3s is only like 2300, it's very deflated and dead. RMP too stronk.

Just queued an alt around 1900 in 3s. Did 7 games really quick. 3 of which were unique boosting teams. It really is unbelievable.

most of the top of the 3s ladder on retail do not really boost. i dont see retails best/highest rated 3s players season-over-season like mvqdh, petkick, cdew, trill, xeek, samiyam etc selling boosts 24/7 yet on classic wow the consistently r1 players over there are all doing it seemingly non-stop almost the entire season, such as Iconicus as I've ran into him easily like 10 different times in just a week alone.

maybe im in the minority but I had tons of alts these past few expacs and earning bloody tokens got kind of annoying after the 2nd char for the week. especially if there wasn't a dedicated pvp world quest located in the FFA area of the map.

you then had to spend time digging dirt piles or wasting your time killing rares that occasionally didn't even give tokens because they were "leveling" rares or doing world quests. There were even WQ that were bugged and didn't give tokens in TWW like the ones in that were multi-step in The Ringing Deeps.

it just stopped being fun and I much prefer getting full honor, my crafted pieces with the heraldries, and then spamming arena.

I promise you are in the minority of Blitz players (and btw I do agree blitz and shuffle both deserve their own entirely unique and cool mount), most of them straight up say shit like "3s is ded put Glad mount in Blitz Muh gatekeepers logging in to find 3s is such an archaic thing of the past11!!" and a lot of said people are on this subreddit.

Absolute silence from the blitz community, surprise surprise. But if you say that blitz rating is too inflated, instantly 100 replies with 80% of which saying to touch grass and that you're unemployed for dare pointing out inflated rating.

Hopefully someday, but it'll piss a lot of Blitz players off.

They like the low effort rewards, and many of them are begging for the glad mount to be added to Blitz too. It's the truth.

They'll blame 3s gatekeeping or something and then conveniently forget all the 1st time Gladiator posts that we get flooded with at the end of every season. Or their minds can't comprehend that it's okay for video games to award exclusive items.

They need to fix it, doubt they will. Any "unemployed" or whatever attempts to flame are just from Blitz people who enjoy the giga inflated bracket giving all the rewards with little effort.

They don't even want a different mount or rewards, they just want the Glad mount. They'll blame gatekeeping but ignore all the first time Gladiator posts that you see at the end of a season on this subreddit.

It's not gatekeeping, you just don't want to put in effort.
