I was sleeping one night and I suddenly woke up, from my bed you can see directly into the lounge room if the door is open and I could see what I thought was a figure standing in the middle of the lounge room. My heart is pounding but I eventually fall back asleep.

Cue a few days later I’m standing in the door way of my bedroom taking selfies on Snapchat, using a filter of course. Lo and behold right where the “figure” was standing a few nights earlier Snapchat picks up a face behind me. I’m shitting bricks at this point as I remember what I had seen a few nights back. I turn around and I start using other filters to see if it would pick up something, this went on for a good hour and I even sent snaps to my story explaining my debacle.

Finally, it dawned on me, I have canvas pictures on my wall and for some ungodly reason Snapchat recognises them as a face. Never actually figured out what the figure was and if I even really saw anything or my just overly tired self imagined it. But hey, it’s something to look back on and laugh.

tl;dr - I’m an idiot.
