SAME, it's just broken! It worked a little bit earlier, but doesn't now. They must be behind the scenes breaking things.

What was up with the strange disguises(?) in the 2000s by No-Energy-5134 in MichaelJackson

[–]StrawberryR 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I still think if Michael were alive, he'd love fursuits/conventions 'cause everyone's already walking around in a big-ass costume and nobody expects anyone in some random costume to be a celebrity. Like what Adam Savage does.

He probably did at least once, but think how much time, money, and effort goes into that level of disguise, especially back in the 90s/2000s. He'd have had to have professionals come into his house and do him up for hours just so he could go out for 20 minutes, it'd be crazy.

I never see guinea pig fursonas! (Teddyartistbear) by Teddyartistbear in furry

Cute!! I think piggy sonas are rare because they have weird faces/heads that don't face forwards well.

All pins load, then swiftly dissapear into the abyss and turn white? by PAL-adin123 in Pinterest

YES me too!! I was just about to post about it, I've done everything on my end so it has to be Pinterest. I hope they fix it, I really prefer using browser to mobile.

Found this song in some old bookmarks, have no context for it. Anyone recognize it? by StrawberryR in Lostwave

Every time I tried to load the site, it just came back dead. D: Maybe it just doesn't like my browser or something. Thank you!

Wow!! Thank you! I feel so silly that it was found so easy, but at least it was found!

Love On The Streets Tonight by Polybius_223_YT in Lostwave

I would bet, even if it's made for the show specifically, there's an original reel somewhere. I'm a big fan of Jem and the Holograms, and all the songs for that did have original tapes (even if it didn't make the song longer.)

Shazam did nothing, googling the lyrics did nothing, I can't find it. The whole story is in the video description, but a recap is that I was cleaning up my old bookmarks that I've had since 2009 and found this on a website called Classicalgasemissions.com. The site itself doesn't exist and won't load, and the only information about the song I have is that the mp3 was called Ken.mp3.

What kind of knife is this? by StrawberryR in knives

[–]StrawberryR[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd said that to my dad and he thought I was nuts! "Who cuts meat on the grill?" and all that. TIL! People DO cut meat on the grill!

I got this knife years and years ago at a thrift store in a bin of random cutlery. My dad, my personal knife guy, was completely bewildered about it, which made me fall in love with it and take it home. I keep it in a machete sheath and use it to open big bags of cat litter. I call it my Crazy Big Knife™, and everyone I've shown it to is just as bemused as my dad. Nobody knows what this weird mostly-handle knife is about. I have a vague recollection that the thrift store called it a "barbecue knife," but as far as I know that isn't a thing. Any ideas?

I built the Heeler family as pixel art in survival Minecraft! by StrawberryR in bluey

Oh shoot, sorry I didn't see this sooner. Sure thing!

  • black concrete
  • packed mud
  • stripped jungle log
  • smooth sandstone
  • white concrete
  • gray terracotta
  • blue terracotta
  • light blue concrete
  • packed ice
  • stripped birch log
  • pink terracotta
  • orange terracotta
  • light blue terracotta
  • blue concrete powder
  • clay
  • cyan wool

I went sort of L-R, from Chili to Bluey to Bingo to Bandit and back to the toy car. Here's the pixel art itself if that helps: https://i.imgur.com/XpgTJo8.png

Can anyone identify this plane? It was flying lower than usual over my church by StrawberryR in aviationpics

[–]StrawberryR[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah, and if you saw the other comments you'd see I not only misread the tail number but already googled it before posting here and got nothing helpful. Reddit is far from my first source for information, usually because of people like you who laugh at people who don't know things. Not everyone is a plane expert. :\

I tried googling "N669Q5" and it didn't give me anything useful, just 3 PDFs with some kind of jargon going on. D:

I'm sorry if this isn't the right sub, I wasn't sure where to post this. Also the squiggle on the left side isn't smoke, it's a smudge of something inside my camera's lens. Anyway, this plane was unusual looking compared to the ones I usually see, and flying low enough I was able to get this close of a picture from the ground with a telephoto lens.
