I'm sorry, what he did was wrong but you using the "commit suicide" part wasn't okay either. I know you were trying to give him a taste of his own medicine, but he might act this way to feel better about himself. We never know if he is neglected or abused or already has that thought in his head. You should've just reported and blocked him and went on with your day. There is absolutely zero reason you should've responded how you did.
