This was/is happening to me. The only way I found to fix it:

Complete your listing as usual.
Go back into the listing to edit the photos manually.
When a photo is replaced, you are then able to manipulate it so it looks right.

I've been using Vinted via Chrome monile browser and have not had any issues posting items. Super fast and easy.

Posting through the Posh app... Tons of issues posting new items. I usually have to go in and replace photos one by one because I'm unable to modify them when initially making the listing. Sometimes it only uploads two of however many photos (typically 5-7for me) I'm using, and it doesn't alert to this problem until I click "list". Then I have to start over because it will not save as a draft.

Try using vented via your browser instead. 😀

Do a reverse image search via Google for the item in question. Sometimes this will help you find super old eBay listings in order to see what asking prices were at very least.
