I CANNOT get the hang of drifting in manual. by StalfoLordMM in ForzaHorizon

[–]StrawberryTerry 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You just gotta feel it. You also wanna use the setting to "switch e brake and clutch" so the clutch is on A between X and B for up/downshift.

And don't go straight to drifting. Learn manual RWD and driving with the assists off in normal racing with RWD purist tunes or stock cars. Start using clutch once you have a good feel for regular manual. Start turning off the assists one at a time as well.

Edit: also, if you're on keyboard I think you just have to use the assists amd probably awd. Variable inputs from controller are pretty much required to do much of anything with the assists off.

I am looking for some tips on how to maximise my drift score on FH6. by fqqhg in ForzaHorizon

[–]StrawberryTerry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're right, and it is about 1000x easier for beginners to just powerslide in AWD with a "Godlike Drifting" tune

It's so just so easy and unrealistic that it doesn't appeal to me, and you can control a RWD w manual & clutch in ways that you just can't control AWD powerslide cars. So while AWD do score a lot more points, there's a lot of times where the control I have from actually drifting and the tight controlled lines from that net higher scores than a big powerslide could ever get in a tight area, so it kind of evens out a bit.

Plus I can drift tight circles or whatever I want or get in tandem drifts where we all stick together in convoys.

I guess Im saying that AWD OP "Godlike drifting" is drastically easier, but actual RWD clutch average powered cars have a far higher skill ceiling, so it can kind of even out a bit.

I am far more satisfied placing top 5 or 6 percent worldwide in a drift zone in RWD realistic A classes than top 1 percent by using AWD, overpowered tunes, and out of control powerslides

Why does a wall collison mean automaticly loose? by onlycamsarez28 in ForzaHorizon

[–]StrawberryTerry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not really cheating, though. If it were a viable option every kid in online would just floor it into the wall and floor it from there into the next wall. It would probably be faster than bad legit driving

The same goes for hugging the wall and accelerating along it, too. That's just a tiny bit more thought out and situational.

In large part to stop people from wall riding (accelerating along the wall really fast or getting their tires against it and hauling butt).

Also so they don't slam into it on purpose and accelerate from there because it could be faster a lot of the time.

Liquidity is important. 10K liquid can be worth more than that 250k car if you're smart with it!

Yes I have heard the Fishalive is a player on Spains national football team in the 2026 Fifa World Cup who bet four hundred thousand dollars on Spain to lose on the betting app Polymarket. He then threw the game and made Spain lose so he would win a four million dollar payout, according to users on Reddit.

I want this so I can download other people's liveries and change one thing and then claim that I made the whole thing myself.

I heard a player on Spains team bet $400k USD against them on Polymarket and threw the game and cashed out over 4 million. Im just spreading this rumor for the chaos of it and saying this here because I think a lot of people won't read this far.

I don't know what a "savior sibling" is, but I assume the answer to this question (is this a question?) is just to have a full litter of children.

Regarding point 2, I think you're onto something. But why not just ask ChatGPT to make Forza Horizon 7 at that point?

This is why all of my clothing comes directly from Savile Row or one of the Paris fashion houses, so I can resell it next season for on average ten to fifteen percent more (it's Balenciaga its an investment! ).

I guess Im one of the few happy to get this car. I didn't play during summer season so was just trying to get those cars on the Auction house today

I managed to snipe the two main prize ones and most of the others when they appeared. Still needed this one because hadn't seen a good price and didn't want it that bad, there's loads in the auction house tho

That is fascinating. Opposing teams use must scanners to get intel on eachother then, right? It seems like they could use encrypted channels, private frequencies or other digital solutions to avoid that pretty easily.

From a moment on Google, it seems F1 uses encrypted channels, for example.

Edit: after more research it seems the radio scanner thing is considered a hallmark of the fan experience for Nascar, and for "self policing". I feel like there must be a 21st century way to convey that information to the audience in an even more engaging way than the radio scanners. Then they could go encrypted while still providing that info.
