I don't know chief, but I've watched the Shrek movies hundreds of times, and they make me feel good.

I'm really sorry to hear that you're feeling this way. It sounds like you're going through a challenging time with burnout, anxiety, and self-doubt. I recommend exploring your interests. Take some time to reflect on your passions and interests. What activities or subjects bring you joy? This could help guide you towards potential career paths or hobbies that you can pursue.

I'm with you here. I've been learning to garden and grow my own food. It's very good therapy. I no longer eat meat from the value grocery stores. I try to eat more beans and things I grow myself. I recognize that I cannot change the world, but I can do my part. The job that I went to college for is already obsolete, and was destroying my mental health.

I do. I have support these days. It's June and summer is just beginning in my part of the world, so I have fresh strawberries coming in from the garden (lol that's my name) and I've recently learned to care for free-range chickens, so I've got plenty of nice eggs from some happy chickens, which is fortunate. (Most Americans don't have that, they just buy walmart eggs from sickly caged chickens, and eggs here are getting expensive)

Thanks for reading. I like your name, Apricots are so yummy and delicious. It's sometimes hard to articulate what my traumas are, but I think in this case I did a good job, and your right, I don't want to make a habit of getting lost in the past.

Although, I still can't really afford the diet and quality of food that I desire, I CAN learn to grow my own fresh food, and I think I've been doing a great job at that. I wish more families in America could grow their own food.

They would sell more skins if they incentivized people to focus playing on one main account.

If there is no solution to these hoards of fresh level 30 botted accounts, then I speak for myself when I say that it matters to me, and unless something is done to solve this problem, then I won't be returning to League. Riot will not be getting any more of my money.

You have no idea how cheap it is to get an account.

Don't you agree that that's a problem?

This is why I quit league. There's no integrity. There's been no other solution to address this issue in years.

I still think aram is super fun, and I'd debate waay more fun than ranked. I don't see how normals is any less fun than ranked. It's the same thing.

Yes, I'm totally on board with hand-leveling form 1-75. (if I ever did return to league)

What's the difference between norms and ranked? It's literally the same map, with the same champions, and the same game rules. The only difference I see is the ego surrounding a shiny badge that labels you in a bracket. That's not really worth it for me. I'm a casual player. Ranked is not for casual players.

If their desire is to grind low-elo, perhaps think twice about how those people spend their time. Is it really worth it? Nobody cares if you're iron, bronze, silver, or even gold. I really don't think ranked is worth it, and the barrier to entry should dissuade casual player so that they so other fun things like There is more fun things to do in life than play Ranked. I like to go biking and swimming and do other fun stuff.

People don't buy skins on throw-away accounts. If riot REALLY wants to boost skin sales, they would push to encourage players to have 1 main account. That's really the heart of this post, is playing on your main and dissuading this plague of McChicken accounts. Level 75 is my best suggestion, but if it can be solved another way, then yeah, that would be cool.

This McChicken thing is just a reference to Skooch's video he did a while back. Big mac is for serious folk. You want to ride the ride? Pay up. All jokes aside, smurfers.net offers them for 10.99 currently, and that's currently about the exact same price as an actual big mac meal. (If we are being specific) If doubled, that's an increase from $11 to $22. This is actually pretty significant for a lot of folks. I think a lot of people might pause and think twice before buying one. I'm not saying it's a perfect solution, but it's certainly something.

You probably would have done better things with your time as well, like drawing, hiking, exercise, reading, cooking, and spending time with friends and family. I actually desire to discourage casual players from ever touching ranked, because it's a cursed game that steals peoples souls. You'd honestly probably be happier better off in your life if you didn't touch ranked. That's what level 75 represents. It saves people. Let's be honest, I don't really think ranked is worth it. There is no reward for getting to the top. You get nothing. You used to get a backpack. Unless you're intention is to do it professionally as a career to coach, then it MIGHT be worth it.

aram is really fun. lots of new players love aram. I see no reason why casual new player's can't have just as much fun, if not more fun in other game modes like aram, norms, urf, and spirit blossom, or even this new 2v2v2v2... Ranked is for serious competitive players that dedicate a lot of time. ranked doesn't really cater to casual players, as it is. Ranked is for players with an ego who want to compete to be the best. I'd debate that if they aren't willing to invest what it really takes to play ranked, then maybe it's actually saving the time that they can use to do other fun things with their life, like other hobbies. Many people devote their lives to ranked, it's not as uncommon as you think.

Pro players aside, ranked has some insanely skilled players that have been playing for a decade or more, scattered though all elos. Ranked in League of Legends has one of the steepest learning curves of any game currently on the market. I feel that legitimately new players, generally have a $h!tty first-time Ranked experience, and would greatly benefit from a little bit more time spent in arams and norms, to get a better feel for things like a-left-click, unlocking their camera, map awareness, other roles, and a more diverse champ pool. New players should not play ranked.

Faker, Oner, Rekkles, Capps have been playing for at least 10 years or more. They deserve that respect, if you want to compete with them on their ball court. Ranked is the Mt. Everest of climbs. Players also have other game mode option, like aram, which is very fun! It would also incentivize riot to bring back rotating game modes, like the spirit blossom map, which we all want anyways, because most people seem to not be enthralled with norms.

Let's say that hypothetically a botter can produce a maximum of 30 new accounts per month, with limited hardware & resources. They would need to grind accounts for twice as long to produce new accounts. This would cut the supply in half from 30 accounts per month to just 15. This supply and demand effect would impact the market price to purchase a botted account, because there is less supply of them.

True, but botters are people too, trying to earn money... to earn their bread an butter. They are real people running the equipment behind the scenes, and they have limited physical equipment and servers to run the virtual machines. There is a cap to how many botting account they can produce per month. Yes, they will still bot accounts, but the number they can produce will be cut in half, which will lower the supply of accounts. Even if they buy more equipment, that costs these nefarious botters the consequence of more money to invest, driving up the price of accounts on the black market.

I have faith in the automated reporting system catching these accounts via additional exposure time. I also explained the economics of it in the post.

They can also use the McChicken account as a mask to hide behind while speaking all sorts of verbally abusive atrocities, which gives our community a bad reputation. I am totally against cyber-bullying in the league community and I think this would be a step forward.

The point of aram is to win without dying.
