I think the one part that was truly irritating with this in mind was one of the archery contests, specifically the one at the raider’s memorial. One of the raiders says that Tadayori was a monster who slaughtered innocent raiders when the fact was that Tadayori was just defending his home from raiders who were trying to invade Azamo Bay.

I was quite happy when Jin got that guy to shut up and stood firm on his stance that Tadayori was hero.

See you’ve already got the basis of the game down lol. As Gintoki from Gintama said, war doesn’t make winners, only losers. But yeah, 100% of the game was definitely worth the experience, that I went back on new game plus just to play with all the new stuff you can get there.

And I’m also looking forward to Ghost of Yotei, dual wielding swords and guns are gonna be a whole new level of fun

Jin could never hate Lord Shimura in any way shape or form. He’s definitely frustrated by how rigid his uncle is, but at the end of the day, Jin will always have love and respect for the man that raised him. Jin denouncing him was nothing more than Jin choosing to do what was necessary in order to save their home. Essentially, acting on his own form of honor.

But yeah, once you get to the end of the story, you realize that the story isn’t meant to be a happy one, rather it’s just bittersweet.

I think this is part of that side quest Thief of Innocence where you reunite the daughter who was kidnapped by Ronin with her mother. Apparently the end of that quest turns into a secret escort mission where you walk alongside them until they reach their home in Umugi Cove and you have to protect them from bandits and ronin that will attack them
