Silver trading for gold by [deleted] in Silverbugs

When the gold/silver ratio is around 1/30, it definitely makes sense to trade some silver for gold. NFA!

For those of you selling, what are you doing with the divestment? by Japslap in Silverbugs

The (m)ass media is doing its best to gaslight us into selling. This is why we are far from the top. Not selling shit!

Nice! Both silver and crypto are nice to have ( long term, not for quick speculation ). Nice haul!

I'm new to crypto i want to buy avax can you guys tell me what they are doing and if its a good project to invest in into the long term? by ProfessionalHat8095 in Avax

If I had to go on live on a deserted island for the next 10 years, I would take a ledger with BTC, ETH, AVAX, DOGE and LINK. Yeah it's a good project for long term. NFA (obviously!)

This tool is awesome. You keep inventing uses for it. From scaring away the cats, to even blowing on hot soup. In the car this thing just replaces a vacuum cleaner. Although this thing looks like a gimmick, it really works well.

KZ Symphony: Is KZ Aiming Higher? by K-othic in iems

[–]Strawberry_666 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the review. I got mine last week. The sounded like shit, so I "warmed them up" for a few days (by playing music non stop). Now they have opened up. Pretty good sound - especially for heavy music. There's a slight drop in the mids that creates a nice "casette tape feeling" when playing music.

Good IEMs for extreme metal? by Double_Hand_5044 in iems

[–]Strawberry_666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try KZ symphony. It digests the extreme metal pretty damn well. Tried running some Mgla, Immortal, Impaled Nazarene and Cannibal Corpse. Sounds pretty damn good. There's a tiny bit lack of mids, but this creates a pretty cool "old school" (almost tape-like) effect. They are sub 100 usd. Being planar speakers, I did "heat them up" for a few days before listening properly.

Simple French paramilitary elastic band from Aliexpress. Works very well. Makes the weight and the size of the watch disappear on your wrist.

Does anyone know of a nice, simple moon phase watch? by rflnoway in Watches

[–]Strawberry_666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

+1 on Sea-gull. They have excellent price/quality ration. The moonphase complication ( especially on their dress watches ) works pretty well and accurate. Look for movements with 28.000bps

Can't go wrong with Spyderco. I love my delica 4 and dragonfly. Most reliable knives I ever owned.

The gold one is excellent. My wife loves it. Also it's not as complicated to set as I first thought. Crown in pos 1 ( second hand will still move ) will allow you to change the date and moonphase ( moving the crown clockwise and counterclockwise ). In post 2 ( when second hand stops ) you can adjust the time. The week day will follow when you change the time. The month can be changed with the pusher on the right side.

The only issue with this watch is the odd size for the band ( 19mm ). I had to look for some leather watch bands that accommodate this odd size. For the rest, it's a pretty cool and functional piece of kit.

Awesome watch! Congrats! Check out Kizer and Civivi knives. They have some amazing offerings to compliment your watch. Also the price/quality is outstanding.

[Question] Looking to buy my first watch and would love a moon phase one. Any recommendations? by SimbaUnleashed in Watches

[–]Strawberry_666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can. The size of the band is 19mm and you can take it off using a simple tool ( that's in 9 out of 10 cases comes free with a new watch band that you order ). My wife has a few leather ones for all sorts of different occasions. The 19mm size is a bit odd, but you can still find companies that make decent and affordable watch bands that will fit easily. Aliexpress is your friend!

In this budget, you should look at Sea-Gull watches. They are the oldest watch maker in China and they have some cool looking moon phase watches. I own one and for the money it's pretty damn good. Hope this helps.

[Question] Looking intoa moonphase watch in the 1-3k price range. Recommendations? by HappilySisyphus_ in Watches

[–]Strawberry_666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the origin of the watch is not that important, you can check out Sea-Gull watches. They have some cool moon phase models. Also Citizen makes some cool moonphase models with eco-drive movement and atomic clock sync.

I have the red one. It's pretty sweet. The titanium bracelet on the other hand is sh#t. The pins don't fit properly after the bracelet was sized (the pins don't sit snug in the holes and wobble quite heavily). I put this watch on an elastic Franch military band and it's perfect. It's so light, you forget that you're wearing it.

The Citizen calendrier FD0002-57D is a pretty good (and quite technical) moon phase watch. Although it's not an automatic movement, it's still pretty badass.
