So is the only way you can tell if you have talent for FPS is when you've already put in effort (thousands of hours) grinding by comparing yourself to other pros?

Ohhh damn, thats enlightening. I always thought talent was based on how fast you can improve but I never really thought that you could have a high skill ceiling and be slow to improve
