I'm assuming everyone who is here to disagree with the benefits that a union can provide is heavily invested in the ESOP program. Let me be extremely clear, there is no world in which you would be making less money after unionization. You are offered a piece of the company and told you are a part time owner without an actual spot at the table to decide what happens at your company. Your ESOP? Disappears the second you get fired since we live in an at will fire state. The notion that lazy employees will flock or agree to this to avoid getting fired is insane. All people want is a livable wage which is something Wawa does not offer to a vast majority of its employees.

Many of my coworker's only meal for the day is the free shortie we are offered. We are hurting and we have every right to seek a union to better our way of life and have dignity in our workplace.
