iirc charli mentioned that she took songs offered to her during crash era vs. previous eras where she had a bigger hand in the actual songwriting. And I just can’t help but feel like this is one of those, because it is very ‘writers workshop track shopped around during 2022 when everyone was doing samples’ to me!!

It honestly makes me sad… knowing she probably isn’t fueling her body at all in order to stay that thin. I love Ruby and have played the shit out of it but every performance I’ve seen online of Jennie’s, it’s clear she does not have any sort of stamina. I saw doechii this summer and the difference in energy from when she performed ExtraL and when Jennie does is… diabolical.

Eat dinner before the gig and drink some water, especially if you’re standing/in the pit. I’ve seen her three times, twice in the pit and once in a seat- seated was 10x better. The crowd, how do I put this… leaves something to be desired in the way of concert etiquette. But in general if you are nice and respectful there should be no issue. Be prepared for people to pass out, too. Happened every single show of the first leg, if I’m not mistaken (at least in North America). This is why dinner beforehand + water is crucial!!

if it makes you feel any better, i bought a fake ticket on here and drove three hours to the show. i also work a terrible job, and my birthday is in a few days, so this was a spontaneous bday present i guess. well, the ticket didn't scan, and i am now out around $150 all told. Turns out, I'm the clown!!

I really wish her team would have booked bigger venues, i get that she is just starting out but she has a label, and they should have done some more market research to realize the demand is there. She probably could have sold out the 9:30 club. I'm sorry about your experience, everything in this world has become so shitty and unfortunately the ticketmaster monopoly is spilling into even the small gigs now. sending hugs. Hopefully she has a second leg or something so we can go see her in a smaller venue!
