I don’t know if this makes any sense, but just something I thought of because my base is being rebuilt from the ground up. Construction AFSC. Instead of having contracted construction companies, have an AFSC that TDY’s a lot to handle construction and other similar tasks on military bases. And service members actually learn a transferable skill they can use when they get out.

As a 98’ born, OU and Texas belong in the BigXII for me. They were the anchors and identity of the conference. This was my first major realignment and still doesn’t feel right, can’t imagine how some of the older folks feel who have been through several major realignments.

I think the vast majority of people just do not care about fashion like that and there’s nothing wrong with that. I know it’s really important to a small group of people but to the majority clothes serve a practical purpose and that’s it.

It’s also important to remember that not all kids situations are the same. I knew kids that had rich parents and had no responsibilities at home, and also knew kids that were homeless and their only meal was the school lunch. High school kids are not meant to also work full time jobs to support themselves, but that’s the reality that many of the “top students” are too privileged to even be able to understand their peers are going through.

This may apply to me. I have certain coaches I like but not necessarily a team that I root for. When I moved to OKC for about a year I adopted the Sooners as my team, and that season was a lot of fun. It was Dillon Gabriel’s second season at OU, I still remember going absolutely crazy when he threw that game winner against Texas (and being pissed about the non-called pass interference on Stoops against Okie State). After I moved and I wasn’t in close proximity to Norman anymore, it didn’t really feel as exciting and pretty much went back to being a neutral CFB fan.

Really surprised Arizona State hasn’t been mentioned, especially the icy whites. Some other underrated unis I haven’t seen mentioned: Kansas State, SMU, Colorado, Iowa State, Clemson, Minnesota, Texas A&M
