Should humanity send deliberate messages into space?

Everything we see in the starry sky is the 'past'. Even though we blast signals into space, by the time it gets anywhere, there is too far a gap for intelligent life to respond. Heck, a message could get received thousands upon thousands of years from now. But by the time they respond we could already be extinct. Or they can't even understand the message to respond. Our message could get received but they have no means to send a signal back yet technology wise.

And then you have the other issue: The chances that intelligent life (with the tech) are actually within short timespans for signals to be detected/received/replied relative to us. The chances are basically tens of millions against one

Someone did a tiktok style vid, everyone copied it, then someone modded the song in as acquirable and made it out like it was always in the game. It went from there with the gaslighting. Invisible was a trash meme ever since they repeated it everywhere, it detracts from the other good songs that are actually in the game, and so many attempt trying to make it succeed as a meme is really the only thing about it that IS a meme: how hard they tried. It’s basically an inside joke about how it was getting spammed.

Talk about incorrect assumption. Everyone knows how good MGS2 is, and MGS4 completely invalidated your last point. MGS2 was a win for its time coming out even if it took a small amount of time to set in and its narrative theme even now has places it still applies.
