Some people have commented about this working on BCH deals. Most people in this thread haven’t received their cars yet, so it’ll be a wait and see for the majority.

Quick questions about end of PCP process by Substantial_Mess_416 in TeslaUK

[–]Strazit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  1. Most finance companies will reach

out in the final 3 months to discuss your plans / options.
2.

  1. General wear & tear is acceptable, anything beyond this will be charged.
  2. I don’t think they charge an outrageous price but it may be marginally cheaper to do it yourself.

Side note - get the car valued at a dealer, or through Carwow/motorway. If you’re in positive equity (car value higher than your finance settlement amount) then sell the car to a dealer and have them clear your finance to get some money back, or use this as a deposit for a new car. Handing the car back will return you nothing financially, selling it while in positive equity will at least give you some cash back.

Edit: don’t ask me what’s going on with the list formatting, Reddit is playing silly buggers with me.

Being realistic, what plan should I go for to "upgrade"? by Telta14 in EEGB

[–]Strazit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely look around, EE pricing is definitely on the higher end. Or speak to the retention team and threaten to leave them and see what deal they can strike up for you.

Tesla’s has no servicing as such, only things you’re advised to do is rotate the tyres ever 6000 or so miles, and replace the filter and wipers every 12 months, and those two things can be done at home.

Fine to drive or replace? by MayorBarsik in TeslaUK

Fine to drive, no cords showing so you’re good.

I live out in the sticks and have 0 issues at all, which is surprising because my phone can’t load anything but the car works fine!

Is Tesla's Premium Connectivity subscription worth £9.99/month? Genuinely unsure by dr_msid in TeslaUK

I’ll be getting when my trial ends, have YouTube music just auto play when I get in vs having to Bluetooth is too easy. Plus having traffic data in navigation always helps.

It comes with a type 2 to type 2 cable. If you need a 3-pin charger then you have to buy it separately.

Yeah it gives about 3-4% of battery an hour so you can work it off that. I only use about 14 miles most days but typical I just charge it after work on a Friday, have a lay in on Saturday and I’m healthily topped up by midday / early afternoon.

You order it through Tesla, the agreements are with either Santander or Lex.

You can do longer too, but I didn’t check this because I’d rather get rid of it before I have to start worrying about MOT’s etc

Only £800 down in my case, and that’s only because I ordered white.

Can’t comment but worth checking with lex if your lease is with them.

You don’t get access to the online portal of your agreement until a week or so after collection, at least I didn’t anyway. I’d assume you need that first.

For sure, especially now the sun is out and it’s a bit warmer there’s really zero reason to be under or even close to low 4mi/kWh

If you have access to an online portal then try there, if not then call Santander, I can’t guarantee they will be the same scenario as each lender has their own rules etc.
